Although “stance” is a word many of us cannot stand anymore, there has been one site that takes the acceptation to that. Stanceworks has always had more of a classic outlook on the community. They bring a ton of quality and have created a very unique niche in the automotive aftermarket. Mike Burroughs, one of the head honchos, owns a beautiful BMW E9 and recently shot a short video, sporting its new HRE wheels. As usual he creates a proper car with beautiful fitment. Most people would die for this car on air ride and HREs’, including myself. Props.

Well the spring is quickly coming upon us and that means most of us need to stop slacking and get our projects done. The winter is always a frustrating time of finding parts, fitting parts, and everything else that comes in between. But it is also a time to see cars come together, huge builds being completed, and the outrageous coming to life. I personally love this time, seeing all the crazy things people are trying to do with cars. I came across this very interesting build picture of a Mercedes limo, on air, and what looks like Work CR wheels. So freakin dope! I really hope to see this thing done soon.
It’s not often that I post Jaguar content on here. There is some dope Jag’s out there, but they always fail to see the limelight. The new Jaguar line-up has been improved tremendously so I’m sure we’ll begin to see more in the aftermarket. HPS seems to always get some exotics down on the floor. I posted a R8 a while ago on air ride as well. I think this Jag looks dope as hell. The body lines seem to be accentuated with the bigger wheels and low heights. Props for the first!
I haven’t done one of these for a while. I really love when big classic american cars are done with a smoothed body and slammed on air. The body line are so beautiful there car rarely needs anything. Raw american beauty with a slight modern twist. Anyways, I found this picture and love the car but I’m not sure what it is. So any help? It’s looks to be a Lincoln, maybe a Cadillac, but I’m sure I’m way off.
To be honest I had a lot of mixed feelings with the new A6. Just something about it seemed “funny”. Mainly with the front end. But when I saw this photoshopped version of the up-coming S6, of course, I completely changed my mind. Something about the lines of Audi wagons that look so sexy! Add a air bag complimented drop and a set of uber-wide Rotiforms and you have a crap load of win.

…so to end. This wagon is coming soon. Or a least we hope it becomes a reality sooner then later.
Many in the Volkswagen community will know who Mike Gilbert is, but for those who don’t, he is one of the most skilled photographers in the automotive community. He also owns a really proper Audi A6 on air. Here is a video he made of the car. Great videography, great edit.
Ok, I’ll be the first to say that Waterfest isn’t what it used to be. But with events like Southern Wothersee and H2O it’s becoming hard to compete, which does suck since Waterfest was one of the “original” european car shows. Having said that Waterfest did deliver a great amount of quality cars. We got there a tad late so I might have missed a couple cars, but I tried snapping pics of the nicest I saw.
Walking up to the show area, an unexpected, very nicely modded Honda Fit caught my attention dropped on a set of Rota Grid’s. These 2nd gen. Fit’s are really growing on me.
First was the APR booth with the RS4 Avant(I didn’t think people realized it was an RS4, nobody was looking at it) and a R8 V10 with around 580hp. So sexy!
Flat black Merc was right up Ty’s lane, even though the wrap was pealing in some places.
I thought this motor was very unique in a mark 4 chassis.
A beautiful S5 sitting properly on a set of BBS’
White on white on white on white…
Very nice mk3 Cabrio on air sitting on a classic set of Schmidt wheels. Oh, the R32 powerplant was also a wise addition.
Something completely unexpected, a Ford GT. Something I wanted to point out in this picture. The sticker booth this car was with, was selling fake Illest stickers. Cmon now, stop faking the funk!
Always had a soft spot for these. It’s nice seeing them modded every now and then.
This Audi A8 looked boss sitting on 22’s!
Beautiful Porsche Panamera sitting on a set of ADV.1 wheels.
Thought the black on black was on point with this car. I think the Porsche 3-piece twists are close to the top of my list of favorite wheels.
The europe only S3 was a treat. FINALLY a real set of Volk TE’s.
Depending on how things go, a white MK6 is probably going to be my next car. So beautiful when its slammed on a proper set of wheels.
A couple of nice Audi’s. I was really surprised to see all the B5 RS4 conversions.
I can not explain how perfect this R is! Simple yet SO effective.
Surprisingly one of the few nice MK2’s in attendance.
Two non-dubs that stood out in the show.
Here is one of the other nice MK2’s that came out. Air ride ftw.
I would love to know what this MK5 is running out back. The fitment and camber was perfect. Tons of lip and still tucking.
The infamous flat green S4 wagon now of baller Rotiforms and air ride. Gotta love the color match.
For some reason, this was the car of the show for me. Not many people were checking it out. But this is one of those cars that if you saw it rolling down the street or hardparked, your jaw would drop. I can’t believe I’m saying this, but I want a Z4. The rear fitment of those Schmidt’s is lovely.
I’m pretty sure this was the ONLY decent Caddy out. Mucho props.
Ugh, I was trying to catch a picture of this early S4. It was MINT and looked so great on the LM’s. As you can see I wasn’t very successful.
There were a couple other really nice cars out, just couldn’t get my camera out in time to get a decent shot.
That pretty much concludes my coverage. I really hope this show gets to what it used to be in the next couple years.
Wekfest Los Angeles was this past weekend, and I wasn’t going to originally post on it, but the amount of quality cars was staggering. What really stood out to me was the work that is now being put into the S2000’s. We are used to seeing full builds on civic’s and integra’s, but the S2K’s are new to the game. Hopefully we’ll see more like these in the future. There is a lot of potential for the S’s as you can see.
This Red S2K is on AIR! One of the first. From what I’ve heard its not fully dialed in, can’t wait to see it done. Definitely nice to see a full J’s kit slammed to the floor.
This Black S was very well done sitting on Mugen M7’s and freshly shaved bay by Rywire. I swear he does the most amazing engine work. The Amuse front bumper and Mugen hard top round the car off very well.
This to me is now the nicest S2000 out. Brought out for the first time for Wekfest with it’s brand new turbo setup. This BY FAR is the nicest turbo setup I have ever seen on an S. The custom work is through the roof! Mad Props!
I dont think there is much of an argument when it comes to the Audi A5 and it’s many variants being one of the most classically beautiful cars made today. It just oozes beauty with it’s classic lines and timeless interior. I have seen a lot of them moded, and have to say I really wasn’t liking what I was seeing. I guess it’s just messing with something that is perfect as it is. This is one car, to me, that just doesn’t look good slammed on air. At least from the photo’s I’ve seen. Don’t think there is one in the states yet, which I think is odd, but I digress. I found these few photo’s below from the 2011 Worthersee tour and these A5’s are ticking all the boxes in my opinion. Nothing over the top. OEM lines remain. Just a nice drop.
A5 on 21inch Rolls Royce wheels. Can’t get much baller then that.
I gotta say, Audi did a great job on the RS5. Didn’t go over the top at all. And you can see that a proper color choice and drop will do wonders.
