I have a bias opinion. Everyone does. I didn’t want to just post up the obvious choice of the car everyone loved this past year. I wanted to share the car that made the biggest impact to me personally. Now to narrow down to one single car as the car of the year, is really impossible. There are SO many beautifully crafted cars making their debut this year and they all deserve all the respect I can give. But, like I said I had to choose one car that made the biggest impact on me. It took me literally several hours to choose one, but I think I made the right choice. You see, cars usually look very different in person. Which is a big reason why I love H2O so much. So much variety of cars seen online in one place. I also love the guys who wait until H2O to actually unveil their newest setups or builds. No teasers on the popular site’s and forums. During H2O, while the sun was setting and the rain started to fall, we made a pit stop at a 7-eleven. Walking out Matt Waln pulled up with his BMW E38 and my heart skipped a beat. I stood in front of that 7-eleven and stared at that car until he left. Such a elegant car with a just-right drop and beautiful set of OZ Futuras. The car isn’t “stanced out”. The lip of the wheels aren’t siting on the other side of the fender. It sits, just right. It’s a moment I will never forget. Now, of course there have been fully built cars out there, with a shit load of custom work, a lot more work that ever will go in this E38. But throughout the year no other car effected me as much as this one.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I give you the beauty I beheld in 2011.
Until next year.
Man, this thing is dope. This van is completely stock besides the outrageous set of BMW 7-Series wheels and a small drop. I personally think it looks amazing. If my mother had one, I would steal it and make it look exactly like this one. Heck, I even played soccer.
If only, the Golf R coming to the states didn’t start at over 30 grand. You know, I’ve owned a mk5 for the past couple years. So if anyone would be tired of that body style, it would be me. But I would pick up a white Golf R in a heartbeat. Volkswagen did this car right in so many ways. We’ll, besides the price of course. Add a serious drop and a set of uber rare Maybach wheels and you have the only car you’ll ever need in your entire life. No seriously, it’s that good.
I can’t remember where I found this video, but damn did I need it! This is exactly how I want my rabbit to look by H2O.
Simply Clean does it again! Showing a small part of these dude’s everyday lives. These guys roll hard down in Florida. Mad props for keeping it real.
It’s about that time of the year where we all put our daily’s into “winter mode”. It’s these few months that I really hate living in New York. But hey, the guys in the heat year round never get the joy of snow drifting late at night in their local parking lot. Spotted this video out of Russia of some guys having some fun in the snow. I’m sure they get a crap load more snow then us, so I can’t complain at all.
Well I hope everyone had a great Christmas. I had Christmas celebration’s saturday through monday so I apologize for the lack of posts. I’ll hit you guys with a couple videos today and try and catch you up with what has surfaced over the weekend.
I’ll start with this video from Liberty Walk in Japan. I’m sure you’ve seen some of these modified Lambo’s, but it’s great when you hear from the guy who started it all. To say this guy is living the life, is a easy understatement. Did you hear some of the cars he owns? Insane! And on top of that he gets to modify exotic cars. Must be nice.
Another case of Japan doing it right.
