A couple weeks ago I posted up a video about an event in Europe called Wheels and Waves. It was a really amazing event consisting of cafe racer, vintage motorcycle’s and a few classic cars. The video was equally as amazing, well put together and was definitely worth the post. I recently found this video on the same event but with a slightly different perspective. Damn, I would absolutely LOVE to to attend next year!

It’s really been a long time, probably a first, that I said, damn this 4-door Civic is DOPE! There are a couple really nice 4-door EK’s around the world but nothing too exciting from the previous generation. This build has been around since the beginning of the season but this is my first time seeing it with a “mild” lip kit on it. It looks pretty damn good if I may say so myself. It has a kind of underlying VIP influence, which I really dig. Simple and clean. Just like it should be.
Not too long ago I spoke briefly about clothing company’s going to extra mile and showing their clothes in different lights. Bringing in new customers is something a good company will always strive to do. Whether it’s going something completely outside the box or just out of your direct customer demographic. The video below is a great example of this. Benny Gold has been around for a while, but as a huge motorcycle enthusiast, watching this video wants me to buy Benny Gold. He make’s it cool. Props to doing things right.

They have their own style and trends. Sometime I wish a lot of the quality builds you see in Europe would motivate more guys over here on the east coast. But that’s another story.
Enjoy.
As someone who is striving to build my own company from scratch, I really can appreciate a company with great product’s and have a automotive background. Lowly Gentlemen came from the guys at Stanceworks, so we knew they would be producing quality goods. I’ve always believed that having a product in itself isn’t enough to build a brand that is going to last. You need a image, you need creativity to show your products in ways in ways that will draw people in. Below is a collaboration with T2 Detectives (since they will be carrying LG products) to draw in an audience. It’s an absolutely perfectly body-dropped and patina’d VW Bus. Complete with their fixed gear bike’s up top. I would LOVE to do something like this someday. Time will tell. The hard work continues…
Props to Lowly Gentlemen.
I think I started my coverage of the last Fresh Meet the same way, but DAMN what a meet this turned out to be! It was pretty stressful and chaotic for us staff but it really turned out to be a great event all around. The rain held out all day and a ton of dope cars came out to share this epic event. Huge thanks to everyone who made the trip, because of you this turned out to be THE event of the summer.
Now, as far as my coverage is concerned, it is seriously lacking haha. With the 1OF booth we had running and running around like a mad man trying to keep everything organized, it was hard to take the time and take some quality shots. I missed a ton of great looking cars, but I’ll show you what I managed to get.
Start off with a shot of the DJ booth which was on a flatbed. Pretty dope spot and they were rocking alllll day.
Right next to the DJ was Mike’s beautifully built Scion sitting aired out on BBS RS’.
A shot of our 1OF booth. Thanks again to everyone who paid us a visit.
Always loved the color choice on the CCW’s on this S2000.
Here is something you don’t see everyday. An Audi 90 Cabrio very nicely done sitting on what seems to be BBS Super-RS’.
Always have a soft spot for a white BMW E46 M3.
Kens Kustoms came out with their low riders. Pretty amazingly built machines. I want one so BAD!
Shows just how diverse this car show was. “Stance” in two very different forms.
A beautiful Acura RL on bags. Not too common, I digg!
Part of Kens Kustoms line-up.
I was really liking the white on white with this S2000.
Will always love a classic E30 convertible. This one sporting bags and what look to be J-Lines.
A very clean RHD CRX. Sad that this car probably didn’t get many looks because it wasn’t slammed and stanced out.
A line-up of really great looking cars. Four of which were RHD. Yea, we got a good crowd.
The Ruckus that wound up winning 1st place best Ruckus. We’ll deserved. Put together very nicely.
A couple of Honda’s on air. That silver Accord in the back was pretty intense. Super low.
Always great seeing this S15 around.
This was dope. Audi Allroad on 20 inch Vossen’s.
One of my personal favorite’s from the show. Porsche 993 GT3 sitting nicely on Rotiform’s.
Gabe caught texting on the job! haha
Pretty interesting looking Scion. Not my cup of tea but you can’t deny the amount of work put in.
Evan and his buddy, both coming slammed all the way from Queens.
A pretty serious setup in this low rider.
My buddy Peno set up a sweet RC drift track and showed off some of the SNTRL bodied drifters.
Jess’ flawless hatch and the Fresh Meet booth in the background.
Josh coming up for the day to help us out. His lovely TSX on CCW’s.
The one and only SNTRL team camped up in the shade, and showing some new products.
Was in love with this Busa. It was packing 600hp! Yea that’s right, 600!!! On a motorcycle! Straight nuts! I love how they kept the original front plastics. Ultimate sleeper!
Mr Pravan getting up close and personal!
First time I had seen these cars jumping around. Pretty amazing what a ton of batteries and compressors can do.
Something else you don’t see everyday. Toyota MR2 on Work CR-01’s.
Can’t go wrong with a 64 Impala on Dayton’s.
I was drooling at this Monte Carlo all day. I would seriously rock the crap out of this car! Straight-outa Training Day! lol
Can’t go wrong with Bentley wheels on a TT.
Gotta love the old school!
Ugh this might need to be my next daily. MK3’s are so timeless.
Alex’ old Evo now rocking some Volk CE’s
My brothers came to hang out. This is my bro Danny’s 944, sitting really nice if I say so myself.
Some VIP action.
Oh, and this was the line for the food truck. Was seriously this long all day. We need more food trucks for next time. haha
Again, I loved the variety of cars that showed up that day.
AMS killing it with their line up as usual.
A little three wheel action.
Rob of Liberty VIP and his GS sitting LOWWW on 18’s. So dope.
The hot dog man working out of a chopped top CRX. Pretty creative.
Another great looking GS.
Kenny aka MADJDM of SNTRL having a little RC fun.
Really liked the simplicity of this S14. Great color and the owner was super cool.
Purple R34 GTR that come out last fresh meet. Always a pleasure seeing one of these in person.
White Supra that seems like it has been around and looked like this for years now. Time for a change? Or timeless beauty?
I’ll leave you guys with a shot of a low rider rolling out the way it knows best.
Like I said, I missed shooting a ton a great cars, but I was so busy I just couldn’t get to them. I had a blast and I can’t wait for the next event. See you all again soon!
Every now and then I come across a car I’ve never seen before. Found one recently in the shirtstuckedin.com blog and thought I would share with you guys. I’m sure all the hard core JDM heads will know this one but lets see what you guys come up with. I think it’s a great looking Honda wagon sitting so pretty on a classic set of Wat’s. Soooo, what is it?!
Before I post up my coverage and reaction from Fresh Meet this past weekend, I wanted to share some photo’s from our 1OF booth we had displayed. Firstly we had a GREAT time at the show, but the road to it was VERY rough. We are having a tough time with our schedule’s to get stuff done fast. Quality is always at the top of our list and if it’s not right then we start again, and do it til it’s perfect. This past weekend, Gabe got about 5 total hours of sleep, getting frame’s ready for the show. He worked his butt off and it really paid off in the end. The response at the show was extremely positive, everyone loved the frames. We met a ton of people and have a lot of new, upcoming projects. We will continue to improve and bring some really dope product to everyone. Thanks to everyone who visited the booth and showed love. It’s our motivation.
A couple pictures of the booth at Fresh Meet.
Great shot from a friend.
See you all at the next show!
Every now and then I am completely blown away from a video that isn’t car related. Many may know we customize and build bicycle’s so bmx riding always has a spot in my heart. What is in this video, well that is pure artistry at it’s best. Both in videography and in the skill of the rider. A beautiful video put together. Equally beautiful way of stunting his bike. Put those two together, add a classic soundtrack and you have a video that should win SOME type of award. Seriously.
This post is just about as random as they get. But I have always wanted to build a red Integra. It’s just something about the color matched up to the body lines that give it such a classic yet timeless look that I’m sure will last for generations to come. Pretty crazy when you think a small inexpensive car can become to popular and almost iconic in some ways. Forever a classic.
