I think the E65 7-series was the car that grew on me the least on the BMW line-up. Or maybe it was that ever drug dealer in the Bronx owned one when they came out. But all jokes aside, I think it’s fair to say that the E65 was the least pretty 7 to date. Having said that you don’t really see to many of them modded “right”. I came across these two from Japan, and of course, they are done right. Dropped on a set of wheels that aren’t gaudy 22’s, for once. Props to the owners for taking the chance on a pretty ugly car. Japan does it right!
I apologize for falling off the map for the past couple of days. I wen’t away for the weekend last minute, and didn’t have any type of reception where I was.
Anyways, I am seeing Players 5.0 show video’s popping up here and there so I figure I share some of them. Player’s is a pretty intense show over the pond that shows some of the best cars in Europe. Here are a couple video’s covering some of the cars attending.
I posted a video a while ago on the owner of Liberty Walk, a tuning company that specialize’s in high end cars. Luke Huxham just posted a new video about his personal collection of vintage cars and his take on the tuning world. You have to respect a guy that owns Lamborghini’s, the ultimate car in many eye’s, and can still drive and ride classic machine’s. That is a true enthusiast.
He seriously has one of the nicest, cleanest collection of vintage Japanese cars and bikes I’ve seen. So dope.
These 350z’s offer the ability to get so damn low it’s pretty amazing. I wonder how the clearance is under the car. Anyways I thought this picture from stancenation is pretty damn dope. I love seeing slammed cars out in the wild rolling on a normal road next to “normal” cars. Props to the driver for rolling hard.
Spotted this video on Speedhunters and thought I should share it. It’s a very short video on some of the things that wen’t on during the Nismo Festival that goes on in Japan. I really don’t think there is anything better then vintage race cars. And you have a lot of them from Nissan.
Enjoy the sounds from the event.
I have been following the guys at Fast Lane Daily for a while now. It’s a pretty cool change from the normal automotive news you see. This year they are launching a new experience called DRIVE and for their first installment they put together a video covering the 24 Hours of Nurburgring. It’s a great way of showing what goes on during that race from a fans point of view. I hate camping, but I would LOVE to camp out during that historic race. Great video documenting the event.
These guys are so dope. I have a lot of respect for crews who know how to go hard all year round. I recently posted the video Simply Clean posted up of their year and here is some of the things Risky Devils were into this year. Again, props to another dope crew.
Side note, their garage is SICK!
…to do anything NEAR this kind of skilled riding. We have no clue how much control and “balls” it take to ride a bike to it’s limit and then some. Kicking the back out like that is so nuts!
Mad props to this rider.
I think an update to my project would be a good way to start the year. The swap has taken a bit longer then I wanted but we finally got the motor out and I am slowly collecting all the parts needed for the 16 valve. Here are a few update photos of taking the motor out. Should have the 16 valve in within a week, so an update should be coming soon.
Fingers crossed.
Better late then never. 2011 has been such an exciting year. Starting off by winning a set of Rotiforms, driving out to Chicago for Wekfest, getting down with the amazing people at Unique Auto, Going to a countless amount of car shows and meets, the never-let-you-down H2Oi weekend, starting my project rabbit, working hard with the crew at SNTRL, creating opportunities for True Driving, and of course bettering myself in any way possible. 2011 was jam packed with high’s and lows. Here is to all that was 2011! And here is to making every year better then the last!
There is a lot in the works for 2012. I am really exciting to see what we can all make of this coming year. Stay tuned and don’t be shy with the family’s at True Driving, SNTRL, and Unique Auto.
Much love!
