Well another successful Wek’fest has gone down in the beautiful state of Texas. Here is a pretty good video of some of the sweet cars that attended. People keep saying stance is dying. After looking at all the coverage this year it’s hard to agree.

The fall is here and I know, when the cold weather comes First Class Fitment is around the corner. With a pre-registration you know when you attend, your going to see nothing but quality. One of the better shows of the year, taking place in an airport, it is a prime spot for epic pictures. The first part is going to solely consist of the car show. But since we did a bunch of photo shoots afterwards, that is what the second part going to consist of.
I, unfortunately didn’t make it into the show. It was upsetting, but I sure as hell was motivated to build something better for next year. Saw some nice gems in the parking lot.
Really loving the Rotiform NUE’s on MK4’s.
The A3 with the super huge turbo R32 swap.
A couple VIP’s that I’ve seen in the past couple import shows.
Took a pic of this nice Legacy because the driver was really cute lol.
Fell in love with this Passat wagon bagged on Rotiforms.
Interesting 4-door Civic on RS’.
A S15 I was very close to buying. Not sure I like the new wheel selection.
Some E30 love.
Beautiful MK4 bagged with a re-trimmed MK5 interior.
Saaaaaaburu love with Corvette wheels.
Another car I fell in love with was this clean NB on BBS RS’.
Ken from STNRL taking about 3 hours to put up the banner.
Going down to the “main” show area, this was the first thing that caught my eye. Didn’t get to see it up close during H2O. Really love how the Diamond steelies look on it.
THE nicest Supra I’ve seen in person. The paint was absolutely flawless and the engine bay was done to perfection.
RSX to die for. Perfect stance.
BMW 318Ti. Huge soft spot for these cars. Love love love.
Yep, dude decided to work on his plane during the show. Coolest thing ever. Still wondering if the two mini’s were his.
Widebody MK5. Dope!
Another car I didn’t get to see up close during H2O. Flawless 300ZX on CCW’s.
Really digging the X5 wheels. A lot of quality work in this car.
A little R/C drift action.
Slammed Forester. Sweet!
I seriously am in love with this Accord bagged on CCW’s. (assuming it’s bagged of course)
This 350Z Nismo seriously does not get old.
Luis from Unique Auto and his Jetta sitting on Image wheels.
Once again, love this Lotus.
This Q45 was so bad ass! Air ride, Work wheels, and a JZ motor to top it off. Damn!
Jess’ of UA’s pride and joy. Still think it’s the best built EK hatch on the east coast.
My favorite car from the show. The amount of time it must have taken to do a full tuck and shave on that motor. Dedication that really payed off. Beautiful job.
Three great looking cars.
Yep, that’s a 2JZ is a RX-7. Props for being different.
My favorite car in the whole world currently is this E38 on 19inch OZ Futura’s.
This E38 is really dope too. Only thing it is missing is a front lip.
I love when normally ugly cars are stanced out like this. Crazy fitment. Reminds me of the VIP that comes out of japan. Peep the license plate.
UA’s very own Alex with his pimp GTR. Always a pleasure seeing this car.
Very sad story behind this F50. The owner passed away before he could see his absolutely beautiful Infiniti done. Huge props to Liberty VIP for bringing the car out in remembrance of his. RIP homie.
A pretty crappy shot of UA member Ray S2000 perfection. As you can see the whole crew was scattered throughout the show.
Loved this Jetta wagon. Another dub on X5 wheels. Yet again, looked really good. Great color choice.
Another really cool looking plane.
This Infiniti was dope. Quality work and really really low.
The nicest M45 I’ve seen sitting next to the nicest Odyssey I’ve seen.
I think I’m going to end part one here. As you can see this show is FULL of dope shizz.
Who doesn’t love Miata’s??? Here is a quick look at a great example from over the pond at the Players 5.0 show.
I think we all have thought about it for a second or two. What would a uber exotic car look like “stanced”? Sometimes you think, there must be ONE guy that can afford an exotic and like stanced out cars too. Here are two photoshops of Ferrari’s and what they might look like dropped on some popular BBS’.
I realize I’ve been posting a lot of old school Honda’s lately so I figure I post up something a little newer. Mainly posting this because a close friend of mine owns an Accord coupe and I wanted to show him it’s potential in the “stance” category. I mean the car really speaks for itself. You can see how a oem lip kit, drop and a nutty set of wheels can completely transform the car. I can’t think of the name of the wheels off the top of my head. Any help? Anyways, great car, perfect stance.
And in case your wondering, yep, it’s static.
Lets face, every family has a weird, ugly, and slightly slow kid in it. TOTALLY kidding, but you get what I mean. The RX-8 definitely fills that roll in the rotary family. It is definitely the ugly, overweight kid. But as far as cars go, I think that’s why a lot of people like it. If that makes any sense. A close friend of mind is researching doing a pretty special project, so when ever I see a nice one, I like to save it and show it to him. The one pictured below is probably one of the nicest I’ve seen, with perfect fitment of the Volk’s. So now it’s the ugly kid with nice clothes.
I was trying really hard to free up some time and money to get to Import Alliance this year, but it just couldn’t happen. Definitely planning for next year. As many of the emerging car shows IA really seems to be getting bigger and bigger each year. The video I posted a week or so ago shows just how many cars were in attendance. And I’m sure you’ve seen coverage from the many site’s and forums out there. IA didn’t fail to impress with loads of quality built cars. The east coast Honda game is no where near the west coast, but we are starting to take it more seriously. It’s crazy to see how the game changes over the years. Anyways, I waited a little longer to post because I wanted to view the heavy hitter posts as well as the “regular guy” posting pictures on a forum. You’d be surprised what some people miss. Anyways here it is. Now, this isn’t EVERY SINGLE nice car from the show. These are just the cars that stood out to me in this particular show. That means if your car has been around for a while, unchanged, I probably won’t post it. Not saying it’s time has come and gone, it’s just a car that everyone knows is a standout. On to the cars.
First real surprise was a stanced out Prelude. I was always curious as to how these would look slammed on wide wheels. I have to say I love it. With the oem goodies, shaved bay, and great color it was easily the nicest in the show.
Evo X’s have fully grown on me and with a set of CCW’s you can’t lose.
Easily one of the nicest EG’s of the show. Just something about the clean white on white that never gets old. That and the fact that it’s immaculate.
Now these two green EG’s were tied for the nicest out. Although each very different. I don’t know if you noticed but the green on the second is off a Porsche GT3.
Here was another complete shocker. We all know I have an love for 80’s honda’s, and this thing is just sick! Remind’s me of a 80’s Accord out in Japan. Interesting color. Props to the owner because we all know there is absolutely NO aftermarket for this gen Accord.
Although most of us have seen this car floating around the interweb, it doesn’t hurt to show it again. Damn it’s beautiful.
I know many might not understand why I post something like this. I just have a huge soft spot for these LS’. I plan on dailying one a some point.
My love for these Accords has really grown over the past year. It’s pretty sick what can be done to them. This brown example is no different.
My “dream” car. A E46 M3 slammed on a set of Work’s. Gorgeous.
Perfect color. Perfect Mugens. Perfect tucked bay. Perfect!
I’m going to keep all the EK’s together. Really loved this car when it came out. The color is so outstanding. A simple drop on some CCW’s and you have a winner.
This was the Honda of the show for me. A complete build, done right. No short cuts. A lot of hard work wen’t into that bay. If it had some interior done, it would’ve been the car of the show.
Minty Type R. And it’s real. If I’m not mistaken this belonged to dut out in Cali. Glad to see the new owner is keeping it clean.
Another really nice real Type R. I usually wouldn’t like blue wheels on a yellow car, but it seems to work.
Two beautiful BMW’s from Stanceworks. The first is a JZ swapped 5-series. The second is a heavenly E9 on 18 inch RS’. Many of you should know the owner by now.
Two cars I have seen personally in New York. Glad to see they made the trip.
Three beautiful examples of simple, clean JDM tuning. Of course the RX7 has a LSx swap but you get what I’m saying.
Always love seeing this S2K. The owner’s newest addition are the gold Volk TE37’s and is now on ITB’s. I hear it gets tracked hard too.
Last but not least is THE car of the show for me. A MK1 Caddy with a K20 swap. I have been following this build religiously and it is nothing short of amazing. Some may call it sacrilege, blah blah blah. You can’t deny the imagination and custom work that wen’t into this car. Sitting on a set of Work CR01’s keeps with the jdm meets euro theme. This truck is just so perfect in so many ways.
I wanted to show a picture of the nightlife from Stickydiljoe. This is from the “party” hotel. I’ll make sure I won’t be staying there next year, from the story’s I’ve been hearing.
Anyways it looked like a great show and weekend. Can’t wait til next year.
Besides being completely shocked seeing this car, the first thing that came to mind was that this Chevy Cobalt looks plain mean! Props to the owner for really thinking out of the box, and stancing out a Cobalt of all cars. I mean damn, just look at it. Looks like he’s rocking some sort of Volk TE reps and hopefully he has the hood off because he’s done some serious engine bay mods. I know the potential this car has horsepower wise, but who would’ve thought it could LOOK this good.
