Vag Event 2010

This video was the type that I waited until the second it released at 2am on monday morning. Loniek has really made a name for himself in the Volkswagen world. If you look through some of his video’s, you’ll see nothing but quality edits and great shots. This video was no different. For people that don’t really follow trends and different ways cars are build around the world, this vid really shows the difference between the European and the US volkswagen crowd. Really watch it and pay attention from beginning to end. Especially if you want to learn something about shooting and editing a great automotive video.

Enjoy

2011 New York International Motorcycle Show

This past weekend was the NY International Motorcycle Show at the Jacob Javit Center in New York City. Since the winter means no riding, or even seeing motorcycles for that matter, I was excited to go. I thought this year was better then the past, as far as content was concerned. The only thing I was disappointed about was not seeing the higher-end motorcycle makers, like Bimota, MV Agusta, and even Aprilia. Unless I missed them? I like the styling the company’s are going as far as the sport bikes are concerned. The Kawasaki ZX-10 really stood out this year. It felt as like as the ZX-6 and looked great! Suzuki, Yamaha, and Honda had just about the same stuff, with minor tweaks. Ducati stole the show for me, as they do every year. The Diavel looked great, as well as the newer 848evo’s. I swear I want to own their entire lineup at some point. I’m not really a cruiser guy, but Harley, Triumph, and Indian had some nice looking bikes. One company I was looking forward to seeing in person was Royal Enfield. The old school Military style bikes really appeal to me for some reason. I would say the biggest surprise was Honda and the custom bikes they had on display. I mean really awesome looking customs. Great styling, and the best part was the builders were standing right next to the bikes to answer any questions. We’ll enough blabering.

I apologize in advance for the quality of the pictures. Crappy camera.

Custom Honda

This Honda Custom was BY FAR the most insane thing I’ve seen. Flat Black ftw!

Another great looking custom Honda

UGHHHHH! The Ducati 848 EVO!

2011 Kawasaki ZX-10. Hot! (this guy was sitting on this bike for a good 15 minutes, no lie)

2011 Ducati Diavel

This custom R1 had brushed Copper plating. Very original. Very nice.

Track ready BMW SR1000. People keep sleeping on these BMW’s!

Last but not least, the Royal Enfield in Military Green

Hope you guys enjoyed!

IND BMW M3 Goodness

Ok, so I wanted to use the word “perfection” but I seem to use that word a lot. ha. The M3 is my absolute favorite car and seeing an example like this really turns that fire up! This M3 was built by IND Distribution with a motorsports theme and boy do I hope to see it on the track. And who knew RED Volks TE37’s would look soooooo good on a German car! This M has to have at least 40k in mods alone! If you didn’t notice some of the parts are straight from BMW Motorsports. That’s some high quality, expensive stuff. Great job on the build. It really is done to perfection, if I say so myself.
Mod List!!!!!!

CHEVONDA LS2000

I am really convinced there are no engine bay’s a LSx motor can not fit it. We can add the Honda S2000 to that list thanks to the 2 or 3 that have successfully done it now. This specific build was really done right. I mean do you see how clean that shaved engine bay is? It certainly looks like Honda should look into fitting a V8’s into their sports cars. It looks so right!

JAPO Motorsports Evo

Engineering is such an important word in the motorsports world. Every tuning company that compete in time attacks are always looking to find that perfect piece or tweak of engineering to be faster then the next guy. JAPO Motorsports really isn’t we’ll known in the tuning world, and yes, I do know there are faster time attack Evo’s out there. A lot of what I like about modified cars are the looks. Thats what really make this car stand out. I mean just look at it. It looks just demonic! JAPO is based in Germany, so of course, I don’t have any “english” info on the car. haha. But just by looking at the pictures you can see that this car means absolute business in every single aspect. My dream one day is to build a car of this caliber for street use!

I would make love to this interior!

Widebody 2GS

With the VIP scene becoming so big in the states, its becoming harder and harder to stand out from the crowd. But I have to say this Lexus GS really did its job of standing out. Sporting a widbody I have never seen before, a set of wheels that fill the widebody beautifully, a custom interior, and its powered by a 2JZ swap with a single turbo conversion! Of course, it helps that its covered in beautiful white paint. I have to say this generation GS is really growing on me.

I was debating whether to post this video up for a while. Its 34 minutes of H2O coverage. Yea its a lot, but it really shows how many really nice cars attend H2O weekend in Ocean City. And really, its just scratching the surface. Besides that its a nicely shot and edited video.

People with a short attention span prepare yourself!

Ok, it has wheels so it counts. Does anyone else think this looks ridiculously fun!? Is there a mountain around that we could take these things on, because I would be so down!

Who’s down?????

Cafe Racer Perfection

Included in my obsession with all things on wheels are the “cafe racer” motorcycles. The classic and timeless look that these motorcycles bring are amazing. That mixed in with a light, reliable, and great handling package, you’ll have nothing but good times with it. The Cafe pictured below I found a couple days ago, and it is one that really drops my jaw. Great color choice and execution. I wish I knew more about it, because it really is close to perfect. It looks to be like a late 70’s Honda CB550 or 750.

Enjoy

Rusty Slammington

So guess what? Yea, it snowed again. smh. Good thing sick winter pics keep surfacing, cause we’ve been having a storm just about every week. Crazy. Anyways, where to start with Rusty. I remember this car wayyyy back when it was just a normal black 5-series modded very nicely. It sure has come a long way. What’s crazy is that I would usually find out about cars like this on forums and then spot it later on at a show. With Rusty’s latest phase, I was shell shocked when I saw and heard about it for the first time at Air Affair, during H2O weekend. I mean its just completely absurd! Chopped top, 1JZ motor, air ride, custom interior, and the sickest set of completely custom Ronal 24k gold plated wheels! This car is completely nuts and seeing it running around the Ocean City streets was a real treat.

I can’t wait to see what the owner has up his sleeve next.

thanks to stanceworks for the pictures
