Jackpot

I’m pretty sure we can call this the jackpot of automotive porn. It’s not exactly something that looks crazy, but to us JDM fans it’s pretty nuts to see Wat’s on a Lambo. Not too sure when this picture was taken but if it’s fairly recent, this is a really amazing sight. It makes sense to put classic wheels on a classic car, but this hypercar definitely mixes that up. Only in Japan will you see such a ridiculous car on a set of wheels that have always been popular on, well, lesser expensive cars. It shows you it’s not about price, it’s about performance and showing that classics look good on anything.

You Got Stance? That’s Cute…

Every now and again you come across a car that stops you in your tracks and drops your jaw to the floor. Although it isn’t really cool to say “stance” anymore, this car definitely has a whole crap load of it. Take a couple seconds and check out the fitment of the RX7 below. Seriously, I don’t care if you hate stance, you gotta respect the balls out style this whip has. Not only that, but the fenders aren’t f**ked up like most car with this extreme amount of fitment. Now, who knows how much this car is drifted, or even driven, but holy crap does it look good. Think how much of a bad-ass you’ll be rollin up to your local stance meet in this steeze. Yea, don’t get too excited now.

This car is built so well with a ton of quality. Would love to see it rolling.

A Modern Classic

I think in the tuner world we can all call the S13 a classic car. Although it isn’t all too old, there is no denying it is a staple in the sport compact world. Combining great looks with almost infinite mod capabilities, and the popularity of drifting, it is easy to see why it has become so popular. Many know that I have never been a fan of body kits, but like many things body kits are coming back in a huge way. But now it isn’t about gaudy and ridiculous kits that completely ruin the lines of the car. Now, we are seeing a ton of kits that accentuate and complement OEM lines. A kit I have fallen in love with is the Spirit Rei 180sx kit. It seems to give the car sleeker, moderns line while still keeping a very classic and aggressive looks. It is definitely at the top of my list of favorite 180sx kits. Mated with a set of beautiful Work Meister’s, set in a classic red on silver combo and you’ve got a winner all around. I have some serious amounts of want for this thangggg.

The Porsche A Porsche Would Drive

Some time ago I posted up a Porsche that costs more then some Lamborghini’s, which is cool because it was perfect in every way shape and form. But I think I found a Porsche that serves the same purpose without all the polished bits. This car is by no means perfect, but I think that’s exactly how the driver wants it. It’s meant to do everything, from a track day to a trip to the local 7-Eleven for a gigantic slurpee. We only hope he has cup holders. It pretty cool how someones personality can be seen through their car, and in this case his garage too. Functionality with a large hit of clean aesthetics. Although it might not be something I’ll ever do, I can’t help but give the guy props for truly converting an awesome weekend racer into an all in one utility knife of sorts.

Military 6666 Customs

In the car scene, we tend to judge the book by it’s cover. Sometimes its easy to stereotype. We see stanced cars and don’t take the owner seriously because there are a ton of guy who do it to get attention. Lets be honest. It’s awesome to see the story behind such a talked about car. As you can see there was a lot of thought that wen’t into this build. Sure, the wheels are on the extreme side, but it screams Japanese.  It has a death race zombie apocalypse kind of feel that is shown in every little detail. I give props to the owner for sticking to a theme and making it his own. He wound up with a car that is world known and he is proud of owning.

Enjoy

Driving A Dream

You got to love videos like this. A man who is literally living a the life that many of us dream. It’s awesome to see that people from around the world get the opportunity to own these classic cars. And I think he’s got the purpose of owning these cars down packed. It’s all to bring a community together, create new friendships, and help contribute to better it. Having said that, this guys garage is absolutely beautiful, and seems to be meticulously kept. And he brings these restorations up to levels that we see with American cars here in the states. Every part and panel has either been replaced or perfected. It’s exciting to see it. I honestly would make a trip out to Thailand just to see his garage if I could. You’ve got to love the variety of cars he has. The love of cars is universal.

The Perfect Car

Now, before you completely write this off take the half hour and watch this video. The Porsche 911 has always been looked at as one of the most timeless cars, ever. And I know many, if not all of us, lusted over a vintage 911 RS a time or two. Personally, and biasly, I’ve wanted a 70’s 911 since the beginning of time. You simply can not find another car like it. What Singer has done, is make perfection actually work. A lot of people can “build” a car, adding all the right parts to make it better then it came out of the factory. But Singer took it a step further. Heck, Singer took 5000000 steps forward. When you see the average $400k price tag, what you get is a brand new car. A car that is purposely designed and re-worked to become what we would all dream of when we think “vintage 911”. It’s all in the details. And Singer has perfected each detail.

Before I ramble you to death, watch this. Trust me.

Street Life

It’s pretty crazy to say, but part of my introduction into the car game was through street racing. Heck, I met a lot of friends I know now from those late nights/early mornings out watching these races. Japan is on the other side of the world but you kind of get that same vibe from this video. Everyone knows there’s a chance of getting into some serious trouble, but the thrill and the love for cars keeps everyone out. It’s definitely a completely different skill but I know its something my friends and I can relate to. Crowds dangerously close and drivers doing things that can land them in jail. But hey, it’s all for the love.

This piece was awesomely done, and so much respect to the street drifters out in Japan. I really hope to experience this first hand one day.

Vossen Wheels

I gotta say, I am really digging what Vossen is doing. They have a awesome selection of wheels and at pretty good price points. What they are knocking out the park is the way they display their products. There aren’t many over the top builds rocking Vossen wheels. Most of them are simple and elegant, and most importantly it’s cars that people can relate to. They see a car like an Infiniti G35 sitting on a dope set of Vossen’s accompanied with some air ride and you have an audience that see’s a car that they can build fairly easily. Heck I never thought about buying a 4-door G35 until I saw a white one slammed on 20’s. And now with their precision series your going to see even more expansion. Going over some pictures from TAS I saw they had a booth with some awesome demo cars. Keep doing what your doing Vossen. Mad props.

I’m going to keep this short. This video speaks volumes about Isle of Man. Awesomely put together. There is a lot of passion that fuels these riders, and each of them deserves a trophy simply for the attempt at the course.

Enjoy.
