This is why I go nuts every year over the Worthersee Tour. Not only does an entire town get taken over by European cars, but most of the cars are top quality. All of the heavy hitters on the continent seem to make the trip every year. I must save 200 pictures each year from the show, just so much to capture and I’m sure I don’t get all of it. The car pictured below is a PERFECT example of the uniqueness of Worthersee and the quality of cars attending. A car that would be looked over by most, if not all the Audi 100, but is giving a complete build. To the naked eye this car still looks stock besides the wheels, but if you look closer you’ll see the work done. Carbon fibers front and rear bumpers, mirrors, side mouldings, and even wheels! And you can see the turbo poking out of the engine bay so you know this Audi is putting out power. I absolutely love that they kept everything stock looking. Such an unassuming car to those who don’t have the knowledge. I love it !

I know, I’m super late with this, but I totally forgot about the pictures I took from the show. I always make sure I don’t miss this show at the Javit Center, I don’t like giving opinions on motorcycles until I see them in person and sit on them. There were a lot of bikes I like for the 2012 model year. The pricing on these bikes are getting pretty crazy though. Maybe I’m just used to seeing anything that wasn’t Ducati, sticker for under 10 grand back in the day. Now you can’t get any 1000 for under $12k. I really liked the new Honda CBR’s, the styling was spot on and they felt light and nimble. Wasn’t too crazy about the Suzuki’s and Kawasaki’s but the new ZX-10’s redesign was sick. The Yahama R1 of course, for me is still the bike to beat. You just can’t beat the power, sound and looks of that bike. The Ducati 848 is still my favorite. The flat white and black are to die for and at a VERY affordable price point.
Anyways I didn’t take a crap load of pictures cause the place was packed as always. Here are some from the set.
Pretty sick custom BMW turbo.
A sick custom stretched and dropped R1.
A really nice full faring Triumph cafe racer.
Nice to see Aprilia back in the show. Can’t go wrong with this RSV-4.
A track version of the bike I WILL own one day. The KTM RC8.
On to Ducati with the all new 1199. This looks like a beast and a half!
A couple pictures of my favorite motorcycle. I really would have a hard time choosing a color. HA!
I am posting this video up simply for the people who doubt the fact that volkswagen’s ARE able to make serious power. 16 valve power to be exact. 900hp and running low 9’s. I gotta say that pretty impressive for an small unassuming 4 banger. I’m sure if he ran on a “real” track and had better slicks he could get his power down even more. So for all the doubters. Shutup!
I have a lot of respect for company’s that have the ability to build quality products and gain a faithful following. As the E46 M3 being one of my favorite cars of all time, I was naturally drawn to Horsepower Freaks. They build and tune these M motors perfectly. Using kits for 400hp all the way up to 1200+hp, they create reliable, high horsepower beasts. I think the drivability of these turbo M’s is what catches my attention the most. It’s one thing to own a 800hp car, it’s another the daily that same car without worrying about boost creep, using the right air/fuel mixture, etc. Of course, lots of people LOVE making fun of some of the videos the owners post. But hey, you can’t hate on the enthusiasm from owning a really sick car.
Here is a video they “recently” made. Yes, I do agree, they can get a tad corny. Personally, I’m jealous!!
Wekfest Los Angeles was this past weekend, and I wasn’t going to originally post on it, but the amount of quality cars was staggering. What really stood out to me was the work that is now being put into the S2000’s. We are used to seeing full builds on civic’s and integra’s, but the S2K’s are new to the game. Hopefully we’ll see more like these in the future. There is a lot of potential for the S’s as you can see.
This Red S2K is on AIR! One of the first. From what I’ve heard its not fully dialed in, can’t wait to see it done. Definitely nice to see a full J’s kit slammed to the floor.
This Black S was very well done sitting on Mugen M7’s and freshly shaved bay by Rywire. I swear he does the most amazing engine work. The Amuse front bumper and Mugen hard top round the car off very well.
This to me is now the nicest S2000 out. Brought out for the first time for Wekfest with it’s brand new turbo setup. This BY FAR is the nicest turbo setup I have ever seen on an S. The custom work is through the roof! Mad Props!
