Is it weird that I enjoy listening to tuners and builders talk about their creations? It is certainly inspiring to see what these guys can come up with, most of the time for the first time, and completely custom. There are some real masterminds out there building some awesome machines, and this is definitely one of them. Nothing extreme or over the top, but a guaranteed great performer. It sure does get you thinking, although “stance” will never die, when will we start seeing more motorsports inspired builds!? We need more enthusiasts!

Sometimes I really don’t get executive decisions made by major car companies. I guess we never really see the whole story, but there are always cars that are made, but never sold in the states. Cars that we would go absolutely crazy over. Car that WE DO go crazy over, and beg manufacturers to bring them to this country by creating threads on forums with hopes that someone, anyone would actually see that the car is actually wanted. Sure we look over the millions of dollars in crash test’s and so on, as well as the loss on sales of other cars, but isn’t the end all to make money? I digress. The car I am speaking of this time is the 2013 Toyota Mark X. Yes, it sure does look the same size of the Camry, but it looks 1000x’s better then any current Toyota (possibly excluding the FRS). Heck, throw on a set of wheels and a drop, and you have a serious head turner/daily driver. So toyota, WHY?
I normally wouldn’t post poor quality pictures, but who cares! This crew definitely has some of the dopest Nissan’s in Japan, and that’s saying a lot. Super low, super clean, and some crazy themes. Best of all, they are all rocking baller wheels and quality parts. Japan, sure does know how to do it right.
Boy this weekend was intense. I apologize for the lack of posts, but there is still a lot that has to be fixed here in the north east.
I think it’s great when these builders and innovators in the automotive industry get some credit and exposure. When the Rocket Bunny kit for the FRS came out I think we all were in complete shock just from how amazing it looked. Nothing so over the top, but yet it looks like a jet/street-fighter. It takes some real skill to make something like a widebody kit for a brand new car, from scratch. There aren’t many people that can do this. And for that, he earns my respect. I can’t wait to see what he thinks of next.
Seriously, can we take some time to talk about how insane this Rocket Bunny FRS is. I know, it’s on every blog and facebook page, but rightfully so. Most of us knew the FRS/BRZ had a ton of potential, but this Rocket Bunny kit took potential to the next level. Just look at it. It accentuates the body lines perfectly, it’s wide without being gaudy wide, and rocks a racing wing that fits in with the kit perfectly. What more could you want? No serious, all other kits are just downhill from here. haha Just kidding. If I ever meet the creator of this beauty, I will not hesitate to give him a hug. lol
What’s even better is that it looks just as good on 16/17 inch BBS RS’ as it does on 19 inch Enkei’s. True rolling art.
There are some moments in life that will always be hard to forget. I have a ton of memories when it comes to the car scene, but I don’t think any of them would compare to spending time and driving in a car like this. Forget BMW, this Porsche 962 is THE ultimate driving machine in every way shape and form. I mean just look at it. It’s a street legal racing car. I’m putting an exerience like this into words would be very hard, so I’m happy Maiham-Media was able to make this video.
Enjoy!
<p>“No one rolls lower or wider then Bee Dragon”. I have to agree with that quote. Some guys here in the states love rolling low, but most of them do it wrong, and wind up destroying the car. It takes a ton of work and dedication to roll low and wide, correctly. If your going to do it, do it right. Shown in the video, is the radius fenders which gives a ton of tire/wheel clearance while riding inches off the ground. This seriously must be jaw dropping to see in real life. Props to the guys who have been driving low in Japan wayyyyy before us here in the states caught on.

For me, just a trip to Japan would be a dream, but getting to drive an RWB Porsche with the famous builder is just beyond nuts! Heck I would kill just to film, photograph this stuff.
Seriously sit back and enjoy this entire video.

A lot of quality car builds coming out of the island. It’s pretty amazing when you think, it must cost more for everything, since it all needs to be flown in from around the world. But it obviously has not slowed anyone down from buying quality parts and putting together some show-stopper rides. I like the car below for a couple reasons. Firstly, I’m from the Bronx, NY and there is a significance to the Acura from childhood. It was an extremely popular car in the “hood”. Secondly, how simply the car was done. Fresh paint, air ride, and custom Mugen M7’s. Not to mention it looks like its a straight up Japanese model Honda. So dope. Such a sleeper classic.
I have slowly realized I have a small addiction with classic cars. Whether they be European, JDM, American, or any other market, there is just something about a classic car that gets me every time. In this latest post a beautiful 240Z makes an appearance, with orange paint, fender flairs and Watanabe wheels. Line’s of a car like this will never get old.
It’s a beauty
