As I get older, there are a lot of cars that I grew up on, that really stand out as “must own”s. Not so much the typical popular classic, but these odd yet so period specific exotics that not everyone would run to. I’m pretty sure the Testarossa is a car most people can see and know it’s a Ferrari. It was just such a standout car. I remember the first time seeing one and was completely floored at just how wide the car was. It was just so odd seeing it parallel parked next to “normal” cars. Today I definitely see it as classic in which the car really speaks for itself. I wonder if the Testarossa will ever gain popularity again.

I am really liking Depth of Speed is doing with their short web videos. Like I said before, you really get to see the the store behind the car and the passion of the owner. Also really cool to see his collection. A Datsun wagon and a Toyota pickup. Two very different and very unique cars that are equally cool.
ps- I would rock the crap out of that truck!
I have been talking a lot about car related videos and how they all seem to be the same. Don’t get me wrong, there are some talented guys out there, but I’m getting tired of seeing videos of a camera on a glidetrack going back and fourth the entire video. I’m not saying, if you produce a video it has to be an elaborate production, I understand people simply do it for fun. BUT those that do charge, eh, please continue to step your game up and better yourself. Props to those that do. I have ALWAYS been a fan of Stephen Brooks videos because he simply knows how to put together a perfect video. It takes a ton of skill to put together something so good. And for that I give him a lot of respect. Check out his latest addition, showing how a night vid should be done!
I’ll be the first to tell you I really don’t like themed car builds. There is just something about them that get real old, real fast. I go for more of the timeless, classic builds that people can appreciate 10 years from now. But I think I came across the first themed build I am totally in love with. It seems to be built by 6666 Customs in Japan. I love everything about it. Firstly it has a HUGE amount of detail, and the body kit looks absolutely perfect on the car. Notice the airbrushed lines to make the paint look rusted? So dope. The vents on the windows, the lettering, the rivets, everything works perfectly. A lot of time and effort went into building this car. Props!
Welcome all! Tuned Motion is my personal Blog about things that I experience on my own or discover on the web from my endless search of all the greatest things on wheels. I have an addiction for all things cars and it spills over to anything on wheels. Tuned Motion represents the love of all things built, tuned, and modified. I hope to bring the best in all the motorsports world in every category (and sometimes things without motors).
Ill start this off with a picture of my very first car. Wish I never sold my baby, Honey Mustard.
