Early RX-7

I really like these first gen. RX-7’s. I’ve always wanted to build one with a couple of tricks. Modded example are few and far between, especially in the states. Japan of course, have the best of the best. I actually found these photo’s on a Japanese blog. Sure, I’ve seen better, but this one looks great. It’s pretty great car. I wonder how it handles with some modern suspension. Hmmmmm.

SSR wheels and fender flairs are great ad-ons.

Many in the Volkswagen community will know who Mike Gilbert is, but for those who don’t, he is one of the most skilled photographers in the automotive community. He also owns a really proper Audi A6 on air. Here is a video he made of the car. Great videography, great edit.

Because You Need A Baller Trailer To Match Your Car

The title explains it all. Matching wheels on your trailer is pretty baller. Not to mention the modded Ruckus sitting on it. The end all, be all is the mint Lexus pulling the trailer and scooter.

8-second R35

It really is mind blowing. It seems impossible that a GT-R with stock body and full interior can run a 8-second quarter mile and trapping at over 160mph. It’s just nuts! Grant it the car does have 1500hp and most likely a crap load of money, but I believe it’s worth it. I remember when 10 second street legal cars were un heard of, and if they were street legal, they were gutted like a fish. It’s just amazing. One day I will own this car.

The Only Car You Will Ever Need

If there was one car that has ever come out in this entire world, that is the definition of a perfect car, it is the Ferrari F40. I think we can all agree with very little discussion. So what is better then the perfect car. The perfect car modified of course! Only in Japan. I do understand the red is classic and it also comes in yellow, white and blue, but there is just something “perfect” about the black on black. Neez center lock wheels are the perfect match. I could stare at this for days.

The Least Popular Child

Lets face, every family has a weird, ugly, and slightly slow kid in it. TOTALLY kidding, but you get what I mean. The RX-8 definitely fills that roll in the rotary family. It is definitely the ugly, overweight kid. But as far as cars go, I think that’s why a lot of people like it. If that makes any sense. A close friend of mind is researching doing a pretty special project, so when ever I see a nice one, I like to save it and show it to him. The one pictured below is probably one of the nicest I’ve seen, with perfect fitment of the Volk’s. So now it’s the ugly kid with nice clothes.

Drift Bus

Thought this was pretty interesting. It’s really weird seeing such a huge van drifting so controlled. It would be cool if he windows and took people on track tours drifting around each corner.

BMW x CCW

Saw this BMW 2002 on CCW’s facebook page the other day and absolutely fell in love. Sometimes when you throw modern wheels on a classic car it can really ruin the timeless lines. That definitely is not the case for this 2002 on CCW LM20’s. It works really well and with the beautiful grey paint, custom wide fenders, and full roll cage this car means serious business. Can’t wait to see more of it.

Stance Wars

As “stance” continues to be redefined the events continue to grow. Stance Wars is an event new to the game up in the north west. Below is a video covering it, and it looks like the turnout was great. The range of different cars looked pretty amazing. Always makes for a good show.

Enjoy.

Just a quick post of a shot from SNTRL’s own Ken of my car that I really liked. This was taken at a recent meet in the Bronx.
