Men In Volkswagen shows always seem to deliver having the newest and best modded volkswagen/audi’s in the world. This August show was no different. The amount of quality cars in this show is pretty nuts. I gathered a few of my favorites from the show.

Here is a pretty serious line up. The white Scirocco is sitting pretty on BBS SuperRS’s. The Rado is sitting on a hefty set of 18″ Merc. wheels. I am really feeling the S4 wagon, but I have yet to figure out what wheels he has on it. More on the A6 and RS4 later.

Posted this one for Gabe. The flat teal looks really good. Filled cups, shaved bumper and jetta front are very nice touches.

Thought this was interesting. First time I’ve seen Ferrari wheels and brakes on a MK5. Wonder how much he had to give up for that pair.

Here is another expensive wheel/brake combo. Where are these guys finding brand new Lambo parts? The yellow fogs are a nice touch.

I have a real soft spot for these C5 A6’s. The color on this one is really spot on.

I can not explain to you how beautiful this car is. Great execution. I really can’t wait to see these vert’s popping up in the states.

Really REALLY love how these Golf R’s are coming out. Absolutely perfect on a set of polished LM’s.

This is the RS4 from the first picture. Really nice flat grey, slammed on RS5 wheels. These guys must be spending a fortune on these new oem wheels.

This car is so outrageous! I mean it’s tucking almost half the rear wheel! Very beautifully done.

I don’t think a CC on Bentley wheels will ever get old.

UGH! These MK1 Scirocco’s are so tough!

Mixed feeling on this MK1. It’s beautiful, don’t get me wrong. Just think the wheels could be a size smaller.

This is the best picture of this A7 I have seen yet. It accentuates the line extremely well.

Great looking RS4 wagon on a set of brand new Rotiforms.

Plastic bumper MK1’s give this white example a great look along with the mesh wheels.

One of the newest builds making it’s debut at the show. You can’t lose with fresh white paint, white centered RS’, and a beautifully appointed 16 valver. This car has given me a lot of ideas for my own build.

This was EASILY the car of the show for me. Flat denim blue paint, widened fenders, and slammed on a perfect set of wide 3 piece wheels. God I want one!

I leave you guys today with some classic MK1’s. The miami blue 1 on the right is how I would love my car to look before the full build.

Japan’s Weekend Drifting

Another really sick video coming from the mainland. This time it’s a weekend of street drifting. Great in-car action. Take a look!

World Time Attack Challenge 2011

Another thing on my bucket list is to visit World Time Attack Challenge in Australia. Occuring last weekend the fastest time attack cars in the world came together to compete for the top stop. Again this year, records were broken. It really shows how serious these tuning shops are. Building 100k+ cars is no joke and takes a ton of dedication. They all are willing to do what ever it take to take a second off their lap times. Respect!

In this case the name speaks for itself. The event looks really sick. The video was made my Stephen Brooks. He honestly makes the best automotive videos I’ve ever seen. This one needs no explaining. You seriously need to just watch it.

New School Stance

Posted in: Uncategorized. Tagged: drop, honda accord, oem lip kit, stance. 2 Comments

I realize I’ve been posting a lot of old school Honda’s lately so I figure I post up something a little newer. Mainly posting this because a close friend of mine owns an Accord coupe and I wanted to show him it’s potential in the “stance” category. I mean the car really speaks for itself. You can see how a oem lip kit, drop and a nutty set of wheels can completely transform the car. I can’t think of the name of the wheels off the top of my head. Any help? Anyways, great car, perfect stance.

And in case your wondering, yep, it’s static.

Classified Moto

Classified Moto is a motorcycle shop that recently opened up shop for customizing your bike. From what I have seen they created really beautiful cafe racer style bikes. The one pictured below is really special. I was mentioning to a friend about these “modern” cafe’s. They call this one the XV920R6-R. It’s a early 80’s Yamaha XV with a R6 front fork and swing arm. Pretty sick considering your getting the look of a really great cafe racer and the handling of a modern street bike. I want one.

It’s going to take me a lot to like a car the Smart car. But I think throwing a motorcycle motor in it and drifting it around a famous track in Japan is a good start!

4-Rotor BANG BANG BANG!

Just got back from a very long weekend, but didn’t want to wait until after work tomorrow to post up. I’ll be posting a bunch of stuff that was brought up this weekend, like new build ideas. One of the more exciting builds we we’re talking about is a FD RX-7. My friend gabe was still un-decided on doing the LSx swap or a uber nutty 4-rotor. I saw this video from over the weekend and HAD to post it up. I think it’ll help him in deciding whether to do the 4-rotor or not. Mad Mike’s FD is absolutely INSANE!

Hakosuka

I’m going away for the weekend so this will be my last post until monday. I thought I’d leave you guys with a little automotive perfection. The Hakosuka is the early 70’s Nissan Skyline, which is the holy grail in Japanese automotive history. The numbers of these cars in America is slowly growing. I have yet to see one in person, but when I do I know I’ll fall in love. I thought about owning one numerous times, and with the internet, parts are getting easier and easier to find. A car like this I want to do right and definitely would be more comfortable buying one with slightly deeper pockets. The example below is from the states in beautiful condition rocking the ever popular Watanabe’s.

Everyone enjoy your weekend!

Yet another video on street drifting in Japan. I gotta say this stuff looks pretty epic. I am in the beginning stages of planning a trip to Japan and seeing something like this is definitely on the top of my list.
