326 Power

Man, I am just not motivated at all today to post. Just so many things on my mind. Here at the end of the day I’ll pump out one for you guys. I’ve been following 326 Power for quite some time now. They have always made some very visually appealing “VIP” style cars. Of course in Japanese standards. But building a perfectly stanced car isn’t enough for these guys. They drift these cars around that are centimeters away from the ground. Gotta love the balls out approach. Props.

Of course we can’t understand anything they are saying. But I’m sure what is going on in the video speaks volumes.

Body Drop

I have recently become obsessed with body drop on cars and trucks. It’s such a cool concept and it’s definitely very different from what we see in the “tuner” scene. A body drop is basically cutting the body away from the floor and raising the actual floor, welding it back in so the car looks ultra slammed. All of this work keeps the junk that would usually scrap along the floor in a normally dropped car, from doing so. It also keep your suspension components “useable”. Below are two polar opposites, but both with a body drop. The Chevy is actually from Japan. I think it’s such a cool look. The Bus is by far one of my favorite cars to see with a body drop. It almost makes it look like it’s hovering. I want one!

Roland Sands Design’s Desmosedici Street Tracker

I have always admired Roland Sands builds. He really does know how to think outside the box. When I first heard about him turning a art piece like the Desmo into a street tracker I didn’t like the idea at all. But after watching this video and hearing the reasoning behind it, I realize I should have never doubted him. Props to Roland. Keep on making them dream bikes.

Ducati 1199 Panigale

I don’t think there is a more beautiful motorcycle available for 2012. Hell this is easily one of the most beautiful bikes of all time. Just look at it. And then look at it again. Chances are you missed some the intricate detail on this piece of art. Crazy part is that it starts at 18k, which isn’t cheap but for what you get, it’s a damn bargain. I’m sure it sounds and rides just as good as it looks, if not better. Ducati really created a piece of art. Time to start saving.

Love Me Some Wagon

I don’t know what it is about car enthusiasts and some of our obsessions about dope wagons. I guess it’s something to do with the practicality of a wagon mixed with the badass look when modified. I guess it’s where we get the “grocery getting” phrase from. Who wouldn’t love to run normal errands in a dope looking and driving car. This Passat isn’t the “ultimate” example of a grocery getter but it’s a pretty damn dope wagon. Bagged on Corvette wheels to stir up the pot a little. I’m not usually too crazy about these B3 Passats, but I couldn’t stop staring at this one.

Tourist Trophy, Isle of Man

One one hand I’m glad the Isle of Man TT hasn’t reached world wide popularity, but sometimes I wonder why. I mean it’s the ultimate test of man and machine. You have the ability to spectate inches away from riders and have miles and miles of road to spectate from. It’s a beautiful island filled with death defying motorcycle riders taking their bikes to the edge. Why isn’t this more popular? Anyways I stumbled upon this GREAT video of the experience and had to share. Really enjoy it. It’s a beautiful video.

Sunday Stance

For some reason, when I think of Sunday morning I think of the color yellow. Don’t ask. I came across this Skyline R32 a couple days ago and absolutely fell in love with it. Slammed on its balls with pretty insane fitment. First time I’ve seen one so aggressive, really. It’s a beauty. Anyone have any more info on it?

Drag Times Info

These guys have been posting a lot of videos this year. Here is yet another video, proving how much of a beast the GTR is. I think we can all officially and confidently say that the Nissan GTR is the definition of the ultimate car. If you read the specs at around 5:25 you can see that the GTR is “only” putting out 1100whp compared to the 1500whp coming out of the Gallardo’s. Now, we all know that shifting a manual transmission is slower and the Gallardo’s are spinning tires. But it’s still unbelievable how much faster the GTR is especially with less horsepower. I mean with the Lambo’s disadvantages it should just even out. But it doesn’t. On top of that BOTH Gallardo’s broke while the GTR was beat on time and time again without any problems. The Japanese have built the best car to ever exist. It’s going to be nearly impossible to built such an astonishing car again.

My 75 Rabbit/House of Tune project no. 1

I was looking through old pictures and found a picture I totally forgot I took in Georgia, when I went to pick of the rabbit. I still can’t believe I drove a Van with 160k miles and trailer 1800+ miles down to Georgia and back in two days.

Ultra Rare + Ultra Custom

With thoughts of starting to do custom work with Gabe and the crew, it natural to think up some pretty crazy projects we can do. I was trying to look up ANY K70 that was for sale in the entire world. While I’ve come up with nothing so far, I did come across the more awesome wagon conversion I have ever seen. It’s a extremely rare K70 with a wagon conversion in progress. This is such a beautiful piece of art. I really want to do one myself. Now, If only I can find one.

This I believe is a photoshop. But shows you how sick it could look when done.

I believe Type 2 Detectives are building this up, but I could be wrong. If so I am a huge fan of all the work they’ve done.
