“Rotiformed”

I think the word “Rotiformed” is slowly becoming a part of a tuners vocabulary. When it comes to A LOT of the nicest wheels seen all over the world, chances are Rotiform has touched them at some point. Now, of course, I know Rotiform isn’t taking over the market, but they sure are doing things right. Mr. Shandler of Rotiform recently acquired a Porsche 964 and he just threw on a set of “Rotiformed” BBS E26’s. This car is so perfect in ever way. And supposedly these are just temporary wheels. Can’t wait to see what he has for this car.

Must be nice.

Classic Japan

There is nothing I love more then classic Nissan Skyline’s. I seriously hate that we never got them in the US. But I think it makes us appreciate classic Japanese cars that much more. I sure there is a huge market for these, so they aren’t let go for cheap, but I WILL own some classic Skyline before I die. lol Anyways, below are pictures taken from Super Street Magazine on a utra-modded mid-70’s example. This car is seriously beautiful. Your looking at a fully restored piece of Japanese history.

One day, one day.

I drool every time I look at it,

Motorcycle vs. Car Drift Battle 2

Props to Icon again. It’s pretty easy to get board with all these video that look the same and have the same theme. Icon had some dope shots in the first motorcycle drift video, but they really stepped there game up to another level in this one. It’s amazing what you can do with a go-pro. Anyways this video is all kinda of amazing and creative. The skill it takes to drift the bike around like that…Crazy!

BMW E9

I love finding classic European cars that haven’t been plastered all over the internet. I think we all know of Mike Burroughs silver E9 that caught all our hearts at H2Oi. It’s also been fairly safe to say that Stanceworks has the classic BMW game pretty well rounded. I am a full believer that the more “soul-less” modern cars are made, the more popular classic cars will get. And heck, you can’t really go wrong with a classic car, whether it’s Japanese, European, or American. I came across these pictures of a beautiful brown E9 and love it. It definitely is a different approach with shaving a bunch of things off. With a proper set of wheels, this car can be a real show stopper.

Love it.

EG Love

Since I talked all that “trash” about the Honda community yesterday, I figure I show some love. I see so many damn EG’s at events that all look the same, it’s nice to see one done right. I hear it’s hard to get EG’s really low and equally hard to fit really wide wheels under the arches. I have a lot of respect for the guys that take the time to get it that low and wide. Definitely looks dope as hell that low. Drivability is another story haha. This very is very simply done and spot on. The CCW LM’s set the car off.

Props.

Dakar Rally

I think as a car enthusiast, you should have a well rounded collection of information in every category of sports and such. Dakar rally is a huge race, that in my opinion doesn’t get enough coverage. The fact that it is very long and at some times boring, may add to that fact. But it still takes a huge amount of team work, skill, and endurance to win this race. I have a lot of respect for the guys on the motorcycles. I mean there legs are taking a beating mile after mile, day after day. The video below is short coverage of today’s leg of the race. Stage 9.

Like I said it’s a LONG race.

The East Coast and the Civic

Lets clear things up here. I love Honda’s. I mean Integra’s and Civic’s is what I started with when I first got into the “tuner” game. I’m pretty sure everyone did for that matter haha. BUT I really don’t like that majority of the JDM community on the east coast. It seems like nobody respects each other. Now of course I know there are plenty of Honda heads that are a pleasure to be around. Hell, I know a bunch of guys who have built some of the nicest Honda’s on the east coast and they are the nicest to be around. But the attitude of the majority just really lacks community. And for that most are looked down upon. On the west coast we see that the Honda game is more like the Volkswagen game here on the east coast. Everyone is family, there are some jackass’, but that’s the case for every community. There is more of a focus on quality in Cali’s honda game. Can’t say it’s the same for the east. We definitely are making leaps to get there, but I don’t think we’re quite there yet. I would really love to see this side of the country step it’s game up. So get in them garage’s and start wrenching!

Random EG from Japan, done right.

Lowest IS300 in the United States

I have to say, that’s a pretty outrageous statement. Now-a-days everyone is so damn low, it’s hard to tell if your actually the lowest. But this IS is pretty damn low. The commentary is pretty funny. I was waiting for him to air up myself lol. CRAZY.

Honda Accords and Vossen

Ah man, I’m so glad I found this video. True Driving’s member Mike just copped a 2012 Accord coupe and I’m dying for him to drop it on a sick set of wheels. This video gives a sick visual as to how good this car actually looks on 20’s. Dare I say, perfect. It’s pretty simple when you think about it. It’s a large drop with a OEM lip kit and a lovely set of 20 inch Vossen’s. Oh, and you can’t forget about fitment. It’s all about the fitment!

This is for you Mike!
