I have been following Deus for a pretty long time now. They really know how to build great looking bikes. Based in Australia they have a huge background in surfing and it really shows in their products. I really love everything about their company and how its run. It’s been a dream of mine to run a creative place of business, rather then just a store. Huge props to these guys for creating a special place many people can enjoy.

Chip Foose: My First Golf

Chip Foose was someone I always looked up to when it came to people who are talented, passionate, and humble about there success. Back even before he became world famous with his TV shows, I always loved his designs, and the flawless cars he would build. The cars that his team would basically build from the ground up to win the Ridler Awards and such, left me speechless. The flawless builds with perfect execution is inspiring.  The video below makes me love him even more! A ’85 GTI, out of all the cars he owned and build, was one that left an impact on him. So dope. And on top of that he draws up a GTI that any of us in the dub community would love to own. The guy has talent.

History

Many aren’t going to get why I am posting such a “ugly” wagon. But this car was a big part of my past. My father owned two of these 5000 wagons, and although they are very ugly cars, they are what got me into loving german cars. I was just something about the fit and finish of the interior, the invincible look, and the turbocharged engine. I am also posting because it’s probably the nicest I’ve seen. A slight drop on Kerscher wheels. So dope.

A Scene From Heaven

I am posting this picture for one simple reason. Imagine pulling up to a gas station on a normal day and seeing all these classic japanese cars chilin. Not only would my jaw drop, but I would pee my pants and probably crash into something from breaking my neck. Holy moly!

A Work In Progress/ Evolution Custom Ind

I absolutely love finding stories like this. It really does inspire. Paul McKinnon is someone who has a tremendous skill and decided to take life into his own hands. As you’ll see, he started his own fabrication company. And what I believe makes him successful, is that he always strives to be better. Something we can all learn from.

Pushing Boundaries

It’s something that comes with every hobby, industry, and culture. There is always someone who is willing to push boundaries of what is normal. If it’s done right, it becomes the next “cool”. Now, of course I won’t get into the differences between classics and trends, but a change of pace is always good every now and then. Over in Japan there is a huge movement of oni-camber. And although I don’t think that trend is going anywhere soon, I do see that the Japanese are experimenting with new things. This is probably the first time I’ve seen them offsetting the wheels so much that the cambered wheels are poking beyond the fender. Usually the uber-wide wheels are cambered to a negative number incomprehensible and tucked drastically underneath the fender. But, this is different. Personally, I think it’s dope. Will we be seeing more of this? Who know, but I love the thought of boundaries being pushed and seeing the creativity of people from around the world.

Mazda5

I think the tag line for my blog should be “Japan does it better”. I just seem to bring it up every couple of posts. This post hits home because my father owned a Mazda5 and, I personally HATED the car. It just was that type of car that when you drove no one respects you on the road. But damn if I made it look like this one I would have LOVED driving it. This thing looks dope!

BLOODMASTERS BLOODBATH

These guys are nuts! I saw a couple guys share this video and thought it was cool for a couple reasons. Firstly, these guys don’t give a damn! Just look at their cars. Ha! they are all really trashed. But that means the cars are used. I’m sure those guys can drift their cars anywhere from all the damage I see. The second reason I think it’s dope is that they are local. They shot that in a race track most of the northeast is familiar with. It’s looks like they are having a hell of a time, and that’s what it’s all about.

Props.

SNOW!

We’ll its finally snowing here for the first time this season. I love to see when guys take our their rides out after or during some serious snow fall. Its usually easy finding tuner cars, but I thought it was pretty dope when I found a rat rod out enjoying the snow. No heat, heck, he probably doesn’t even have windows. That’s going balls out! Props.

ZERO | LIP

I apologize for the lack of posts the last two days. I have been so busy with the team, projects, events, SNTRL, etc. If you guys haven’t already, check out SNTRL’s new site. To say we have a lot of new things planned for it is a understatement. Keep your eyes open for dopeness throughout the whole year.

Anyways, if you have followed my blog for the past year, you know I’m a huge Stephen Brooks fan. Every video he puts out isn’t the same boringness you see from everyone else. I won’t name, names. But this video was great for a couple reasons. Firstly his editing style, it’s something we can all learn from. Secondly the car is rocking “zero lip” wheels, which is a growing trend across the pond. Very controversial to say the least. I personally think it’s dope. It’s different. It pushes boundaries. It’s what the community needs. Props to the owner for doing something different, despite all the crap he’s getting for it. Besides the car is beautiful in itself.

FYI- the wheels are “rotiformed” BBS E50’s.
