So I’m sure most of you has seen some type of coverage of Wekfest. I have to say, I was surprise on the amount of people who attended. I mean take a look at stickydiljoe’s coverage and you’ll see what I’m talking about. The show definitely deserves the recognition. The amount of quality cars in this show was really staggering. I was waiting for a video worth posting and I came across this one. I guess when you use a RED EPIC camera the film better come out good. I’ve always wanted to rent on for a show. Footage comes out pretty dope.

Big Mike’s Prelude

Now, I don’t know the guy personally, but I have a heck of a lot of respect for him. His prelude is easily one of my favorite Honda builds currently. I mean you can just tell the amount of work and attention to detail this man has put into this car. Every small piece has been touched and has been done right. No short cuts. It takes a whole lot of dedication to build a car of this caliber, and for that I give him a lot of props. It’s a beautiful thing.

This picture is from wekfest, and is his current setup. I have to say this is my favorite setup so far.

HRE Wheels Vintage Series – Lamborghini

I really have mixed emotions about this Lamborghini. Firstly, it’s an amazing car, location, and the photo shoot came out ridiculously good. But I feel like the Lambo is over-modified. I’m not even saying that it looks bad, but I guess if had that type of money I wouldn’t be investing on a body kit and air suspension for a car that is perfect the way it came out of the factory. I’m all for the twin-turbo’s and wheels, but I don’t know, it almost seems to get a little too gaudy. Props to the builder and owner though. Don’t get me wrong I would rock it all day. HA!

Small Bumper Love

Decided to go back to my roots today. Simple old school Volkswagen’s. There is just something about the beautiful, simple lines of the small bumper mk2. It says a lot when you don’t have to do much to make a car look really good. The example below is basically a stock mk2 with a drop and a rare set of BBS wheels and a clean body. That’s it. And I could honestly stare at it forever. Beautiful.

RAUH WELT Begriff // Night Session

I’m happy that RWB came out with this video. Not only for the incredible footage, but for the question everyone had in the back of their head. RWB has become so incredibly popular over the past couple months some were afraid it would become too main stream. In some ways it has, but at the same time why would that be a bad thing? I mean we are never going to see a RWB Porsche in every town, heck we probably won’t see on in every state, but why is seeing more built such a bad thing? “Change” is good. Sure, some things aren’t worth it, but we should be embracing this builder who creates some of the most beautiful machines in the world. I say, more Rauh Welt!

No Snow!

Seriously, we haven’t had much of a winter so far. We are definitely not used to this warmer weather here in New York. But I do see around the world, there has been plenty of snow falling. Enough for some cool pictures. The picture below caught my eye because the snow is actually falling with a line-up of all white cars. Dope white cars actually. Obviously, only in Japan would there be a parking lot this dope. Guess you can say this picture is very “fitting”.

Big Body Karate

Man I love these cars. Huge old school Caddy’s dumped and cruising down the road with it’s bass-ass attitude. No big gaudy wheels, no crazy hydraulics, just clean beautiful lines. It looks so graceful rolling down the road. Chrome accents everywhere, I’m sure you’ll be best friends with your local chromer. This car is so proper.

Restoration

We are all familiar with the word restoration when it comes to replacing every nut and bolt on a old car, hopefully making it better then when it came out of the factory. But restorations are a common word in the american world, with the muscle and classic cars. Now that the classic Japanese cars are getting older, we are starting to see some full restorations pop up here and there. The one below, really caught my eye, because it’s the first 240z that I’ve seen with a full blown restoration and then some. So dope. I really hope to see more like this in the states. Heck, I would love to do it myself.

Mixing It Up

I really love body dropped truck. I also really love lowriders. This truck seems to have feet in both camps. The large wire wheels are very different for a body drop truck, but it seems to fit in quite well. Man, I want one bad!

Rotiform 964

I don’t even need to tell you how big Rotiform has gotten. I mean they are doing the right things in every aspect of their game. They have GREAT taste and love for cars and it really shows in their personal and demo cars. The quality is impeccable and I really think it rubs off on the consumers. Their newest example of pure perfection is this Porsche 964 with 18 inch Rotiformed BBS RS’. No seriously this car looks perfect. No wonder so many people drool over the wheels this company produces.
