Danny’s Porsche 944

So my brother bought this dope Porsche 944 Turbo a couple of months back. He had a crap load of trouble with but finally got it road worthy. It’s making around 400hp to the wheels, but he just isn’t happy with how it’s running along with some other things. I’m not sure he wants me to blab his plans, but it’s pretty crazy what he’s going to do to this car. It’s going to be a whole different monster once it’s done. Can’t wait to update you guys.

Until then, pics for clicks.

I can not explain how much I love this tow truck, trailer car combo. A classic Suburban and an even more classic Toyota that looks like its ready to drift. So dope.

Flush Style 2012

It is really cool checking out what other country’s and culture’s are doing in the car scene. It’s pretty crazy to think that trends from the states and Japan are carried over and picked up by the people over in Thailand. It’s also really cool to see what kind of trends and style’s they bring up on their own. A great video with a TON of quality cars. Quite a surprise to be honest. But props to all of them, shouldn’t be a surprise at all.

A Difference Kind of Classic

I have been posting a lot of classic car recently. Like I have said before, classic cars have a soul that you just can’t find in a new car. It’s a completely different kind of monster. We’ll speaking of monsters, below is a different kind of classic. I have always loved every generation Toyota Land Cruiser, and this mid-80’s example is no different. I have very little doubt that this car  was built in Japan, it is absolutely mint and is rocking a set of truck Volk TE-37’s. So freakin dope!

It’s pretty crazy that clean examples of this truck are still fetching over 10k. Well worth it in my book

Mercedes SL

I don’t know why but I’ve ALWAYS wanted to buy one of these older gen. Mercedes Benz SL’s. I remember seeing a red one in Dupont about ten years ago slammed on Brabus wheels and it always stuck with me. I know this car would look absolutely beautiful on air and a wide set of 3-piece wheels. I’ve only really seen modded examples in Europe and Germany, but nothing here in the states. I did see that one of the guys at Rotiform purchased one, so I’m sure it’ll be looking exactly how I would want it soon enough.

Pics for Clicks.

RWB Pandora One

This car really does speak for itself. Everyone knows about it. Everyone, at least everyone I know, loves it and everything RWB is doing. This short video was put together, and put together very very nicely. Props.

Gas Station Hardparking

There is always something special about gas station pictures. Something about the combination of lighting and dope cars getting gassed. Found this picture on a blog and had to share it. My father owned one of these Infiniti’s a couple years. Looking at these I wish he wouldn’t kept it. So dope.

Japanese Goodness

Again, by now you know that I have a firm belief that Japan simply does everything better. Here is another perfect example. I think they call these trial bikes. They are basically dirt bikes without a seat, and as you can see a seat would just hinder the performance of the rider. Kind of crazy. To make things interesting they throw an almost impossible trail in front of them and send them off. I really just think you should go ahead and watch the video. It’s simply amazing. So much skill.

I just wanted to make a couple things clear. True Driving is a collection of really close friends that have grown up together passionate about the same things. Cars and motorcycles are what brought us together, but we all have different passions in life. In the near future, your going to be seeing a lot of new logo’s, names, and products. But all of this is stemming from the foundation that is the group of people that make True Driving. We are a family, first and foremost.

Many of my teammates and I have met many people over the years. We are affiliated with Unique Auto, and SNTRL. Again, we consider these guys family. So when you see us, True Driving, rocking SNTRL and Unique Auto stickers and shirts its all out of love and support. We all are in it for the love of the game, the friendships, and the memories. We aren’t in gangs, so why should we have to hate on and talk about what other people are doing?

Having said that, I’ve started a True Driving facebook page. Please check it out and “like” when you get a chance. Many, many things coming for us.

Thank You
Talking about memories, H2O last year with some of the peeps, damn I miss it.

OEM +

Sometime people get so caught up in buying the most expensive aftermarket parts and adding everything possible that they forget that sometimes, or most of the time cars look great with just small but effective touches here and there. I absolutely love when you can make a car, not only look like it came out of a showroom, but to the untrained eye, would be barely able to notice the simple mods done to a car. I came across this picture of this absolutely mint and beautiful s13 and it reminded me of that fact. Sometime’s the OEM+ look is the one that takes the cake.

Timeless.
