Ah, Yes! MotoGP season is here!!! The first face was this past sunday and it was a exciting to say the last. With the new chassis and 1000cc bikes I’m sure there is still some getting used to but there was really no surprise as to who was in the front of the pack. Stoner, Lorenzo and, my favorite, Pedrosa, lead the entire race. It really is ridiculous how fast these guys are compared to everyone else. We have new riders, new teams, and new graphics, should be a FUN year to say the least. What I am really wanting to see is Rossi and Hayden step the Ducati game up, I’m tired of seeing them in the middle of the pack when they should be just as fast as the guys in the front. We’ll see!

Carbon x Carbon x Datsun

I’m sure plenty of you have seen this car over the past year or so, but I don’t think I’ve ever posted it. I can not explain how beautiful this car is. Now, I’m not too sure if every body panel is actual carbon fiber or they just put a carbon fiber over  it, but either way the amount of work involved is enormous. It’s also gives the car a beautiful color, and with the addition of wet carbon flares, bumpers and other various parts, you have a GREAT looking car, that in theory has never been painted. So dope. And I love the addition of the bronze Volk TE-37V’s. It’s a match made in heaven. Oh yea, and it’s powered by a RB26, NUTS!!

The Most Controversial Car in the World

Alright, so, I think it’s safe to say that “stance” has taken over the world. And with everything, people are going to try and push the boundaries until they can’t be pushed anymore, or something breaks lol. So here, below, I give the most controversial car in the world. No seriously, look at the thing. There is no other car like it. No one has tried anything close to this. Not even the demon camber guys. This is just crazy. Apparently he drove it to the show. Sure, it looks crazy, it looks stupid, but since when was the car community so serious? It’s nothing most of us wouldn’t even think of doing, and for that you have to respect the guy. Props to him for pushing the “stance”, camber, and tire stretch boundaries beyond a place anyone thought it could go.

That Caddy Love

There are some cars that I feel like I need to own before I die. One, for me was always a mid- 50’s Cadillac Eldorado. It’s so classic it hurts. Beautiful, sensual lines screamed class in that time era. Lay the frame and a paint job that is both period correct and a tone of fad that is almost unexplainably beautiful in the right lighting and you have perfection. I could literally stare at this car all day.

Colors

Having trouble finding a new color for your project? Sure Audi, BMW and other various company’s have great looking, different colors. But if you want to have the sickest most different color on your car. Look through the 60’s,70’s and 80’s Porsche paint codes. There are TONS of very unique colors, that people have yet to touch. Below is a perfect example of these colors. Absolutely beautiful arrangement of colors.

Name That Car

Haven’t done this kind of blog post in a while. Every now and then I come across a car and I just don’t know what it is. This is one of those times. Came across this car on the stanceworks forum and am completely stumped. I know it says Hillman on the front, but I’ve never heard of it. Anyone have any info on it? Sure does look good!

I hope some of you are good with chassis code’s. The W124 is the chassis code for the Mercedes Benz E-class, built in the mid 80’s and into the  mid 90’s. This car is another example of a classic german car that can look really, really good with the right mods. Below is a perfectttttt example. Painted in a beautiful green, on air and rocking as set of classic MAE wheels (assuming). I absolutely love when they tint the front and rear lights. This car really needs nothing else. I would rock it all day!

I would LOVE to know what front bumper this is. Any ideas?

Rough Craft x Zero Engineering

On the subject of motorcycle’s, I came across this absolutely beautiful chopper/bobber created in Japan. If I remember correctly it’s a Zero Engineering base with custom parts and work from Rough Craft in Japan. I really can’t stop looking at it. The combination of the black, polish, and gold plating is beyond perfect and creates a beautiful fluid theme throughout the entire bike. The fat front and rear tire’s really give it a Japanese brat-esq style that again, flows really well with the entire bike. Nice to work to all involved.

Not much to say about this video. It’s just a simple video very well done with tons of Japanese drifting content.

Cafe Racer / Fashion

There are many reason’s I love cafe racers. Besides the obvious love for raw, simple power on two wheels, there is a look to these motorcycle’s that are unmistakable. Many of you might not know, but I am hugely into fashion and these bike’s stem off from the fashion world in many ways. The style of the guys who made these motorcycle’s popular in the 60’s and 70’s, like Steve McQueen, is what made these so much more then just a motorcycle, for me, and many. To show you what I mean, I found a couple of pictures from a recent shoot in front of the famous Ace Cafe. As you can see this style of mens wear and motorcycle to together SO WELL. I can’t wait to build a couple of my own…
