I don’t know the guy personally, but I’ve been in love with this car ever since I laid eyes on it during H2Oi last year. He recently polished the centers of his OZ wheels and it made a small but impactful difference. Came across this video put together Jared Houston and thought I’d share it, but mostly because I love how sexy this car looks. Haha.

Air Ride Performance

So it has always just been kinda known that when you talk about air bag suspension, your talking about a show car. But there is something that over years people might not get. Things get better, more reliable, more simplified. I am seeing, especially in the muscle car world, that they are using air ride suspension on their track cars. I’m not talking about full blown race cars but cars that get thrashed around the track every weekend. Sometime’s we have to remind ourselves that things always improve when there is a market. Bags have gotten very reliable, and like I said very simplified. Weight is not as much an issue as it was before. So if your torn between bags and coilovers because you want to be low and still perform well, don’t be. Air bags are very capable. Below is a pretty good example. We all know Evo’s are really fast cars, but we also know they look sick slammed to the ground. He’s got the best of both worlds. Props.

Worthersee Tour 2012 by FELGENOUTLET

As I’ve said time and time again, Worthersee Tour never fails to bring some of the dopest content in the world, every year. I came across this video from FELGENOUTLET and thought it was very well done. Although it covers less then a quarter of the beautiful show cars, you can get a taste of the quality in attendance.

Enjoy.

Some Function with that Flash

We seemed to be filled in a tuner world of form over function. Ten-fifteen years ago it was all about racing and making your car faster and lighter. Making the car look good was secondary. Now if your car doesn’t look good, it’s not getting in a show. I have been following this Prelude build for a while now and it’s been all about a quality build with appearance being the main focus. I recently saw this picture and thought it was a refreshing change. The car still looks great but he added a bit of function and performance. The engine bay no longer has as clean a look as it did before, but it packs a 4 channel AEM, which is why you see the 4 O2 sensors. It allows the tuning of each cylinder. It ain’t pretty, but it sure does add a crap load of performance and is done right. You really can’t hate on that. Although it may not look good, it’s still a piece of art. Props.

326 POWER

Well I am finally back from my vacation, so it’s back to work!

There have been a couple shows the past two weekends from around the world, and plenty of new builds. In Japan, something that has really caught my eye are the guys from 326 POWER and their unbelievable Nissan builds. We are so used to huge drift focused builds, that I really can’t put a finger on what this is. It reminds me of a lot of the VIP builds you see. Tons of camber, radiused fenders, and cars so low you have a hard time believing they are drivable. I am really loving this new “style” and would love to see more of it. Below is one example of this different way of building a S-chassis. So dope!

Audi Haulers

I guess they don’t follow the same trailers rules that we do in the states, cause there is no way a Audi wagon is rated to tow a full trailer and car. Regardless this combo always stands out to me. Getting to drive around in a great looking Audi trailering your precious show cargo, you really can’t get any better.

Sorry for the short update today, super busy, but wanted to give you guys something.

What Worthersee Tour Offers

This is why I go nuts every year over the Worthersee Tour. Not only does an entire town get taken over by European cars, but most of the cars are top quality. All of the heavy hitters on the continent seem to make the trip every year. I must save 200 pictures each year from the show, just so much to capture and I’m sure I don’t get all of it. The car pictured below is a PERFECT example of the uniqueness of Worthersee and the quality of cars attending. A car that would be looked over by most, if not all the Audi 100, but is giving a complete build. To the naked eye this car still looks stock besides the wheels, but if you look closer you’ll see the work done. Carbon fibers front and rear bumpers, mirrors, side mouldings, and even wheels! And you can see the turbo poking out of the engine bay so you know this Audi is putting out power. I absolutely love that they kept everything stock looking. Such an unassuming car to those who don’t have the knowledge. I love it !

Hey guys, I am dedicating this post to telling you about 1OF. Me and my business partner, Gabe, have been talking for year about starting something on our own. We both have very different tastes but, we both have a strong desire to create products that represent us. We have a ton coming in the future, but we are starting off with custom bike frames. 1OF will be a collection of custom parts, whether it’s in bikes, cars, motorcycles, fashion, or art. Our bike frames are all painted in-house and we will be offering completely custom colors and schemes. Our first demo bike (pictured below), called “The General”, we did is classic camouflage with gold, black, and brown accent colors. If anyone is interested in having their bike painted, or purchasing a custom frame from us, please feel free to contact me at dacevedo01@yahoo.com. Like I said, we are just at the start and will have a website with all detail up soon. Thanks for looking!

Fresh Meet Spring 2012 Coverage

Like I said in my previous post, Fresh Meet this past sunday was absolutely amazing. The show-out was beyond all of us expected and so was the quality of cars that attended. We all at Fresh Meet would love to thank every person who showed up. It sucked because I was personally telling people they couldn’t come in after the parking lot was full, but there was no other option. We’d like to thank everyone for understanding. The next Fresh Meet will be way bigger and way better!

Anyways on to my pretty short coverage. When I showed up I wen’t right to work, helping park cars and did that for the entire day, so I didn’t get nearly enough pictures that I wanted to. The quality isn’t to great either because when I did take a picture it was quick so I could keep helping. On to it…

As you’ll see this meet covered everything. From Japanese to European to American.

A beautiful Jetta GLI on air ride and CCW’s.

A little different here. A S2K on Mercedes wheels.

I recently bought a B6 S4 so I really was liking this one dropped on Bentley’s.

Very nice GTI in CCW’s.

A very clean Supra on SSR’s.

As you can see cars packed in every where you look. Nothing but quality all around.

Beautiful MK5 on BBS RS’. I love white on white.

Copper centers on the CCW’s were a nice touch. I really don’t like seeing S2K’s without any type of front lip, but it’s understandable in this state and how low it sits.

Very clean Integra Type R with jdm front. Always loved these in yellow.

Two more great looking Mk5’s on air and Rotiform’s.

I really was digging this Accord on Varrstoen’s. Fitment was a thing of beauty.

Beautiful Lexus from the guys at Liberty VIP. Was a treat seeing them out here.

Ice Cream!! A much needed visit…

Always a pleasure seeing this turbo R32. Gotta love the hood mod.

A car I love to see. Porsche 993 GT2 sitting on recently acquired Rotiform’s. A thing of beauty.

Lovely BMW 318. Man, you really can’t go wrong with a modded E36.

Really nice Jetta with a crap load of work done. Owner seemed super cool as well.

As you can see some of my pictures were rushed.

Ray of Unique Auto.

Half of Kevin’s hatch, of Unique Auto.

Was really digging this RL on air. Something out of the ordinary and looks great.

Alex of Unique Auto’s newest project. S2K on CCW’s. He’s got a lot planned for this thing.

Always nice seeing a fully built motorcycle brought out.

Beautifully done Scion on air and BBS RS’.

I really couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw this R34 pull up. Midnight Purple and Volk TE37’s, perfect combination.

Very cool Honda Accord coupe slammed on CCW’s.

Yep! Your looking at a Honda K-swap in a MK3 Jetta. Pretty crazy. Would definitely be a huge standout with more work.

Something very different showing up. We definitely welcome stuff like this.

Some exotic sightings.

A drift car that is actually drifted. Love seeing cars like this. Official Soarer too.

Two official RHD cars from the motherland. Really nice.

Eddy of Unique Auto and his dope Fit. This guy was all over the place on Sunday!

I think at this point I stopped shooting and started helping again. We heard there was an accident on the highway caused by two guys racing, and that’s when the cops came to shut the event down. It was such a bummer since the event was going so well. Always has to be one out the bunch to ruin it for everyone. smh.

Here are the cops giving out tickets. I really felt bad for the guys receiving them.

I wish I got better shots of this car. This to me, is the best built civic on the east coast. Such attention to detail. Pretty cool to see it on air as well. Really, nothing was looked over on this car. Owner was cool too. Would love to get more shots of it.

Basically at this point, everyone was leaving. The cops told everyone to bounce so they all slowly left the parking lot. Really glad there weren’t any fender benders since the cars were parked pretty close together. We cleaned up and I took some more random shots. Overall it was a great experience for us all. From this, I know the next event will be much, much better.

That’s all she wrote! Again, my coverage was lacking but I did the best I could with the time I had. Thanks for looking! Until next time…
