I always give respect where respect is due. Stephen Brooks is easily one of my favorite automotive videographers, so he deserves a post every time he comes out with a new vid. Great editing, great story line, and great shots. Keep it up! Other then that did you guys see the Lotus on BBS RS’ and air ride? It’s like a James Bond remix, but cooler. I’ve wanted to build one since I don’t know how long. Seriously cool car that isn’t going to break the bank. Well the repairs might, but I am some ideas to get around that. hehe

The look that air-cooled cars offer really can’t be duplicated in any other car culture. I guess it has a lot to do with the engine being in the trunk, and allowing to absolutely slam the hell out of it, static of course. There is just some thing about those sunken in wheels, the classic colors and styling. I came across this pic and thought it was really cool. It’s different from what you tend to see from the air cooled guys. Mainly the black accent pieces. He carries the accents very well through out the whole car, giving it a slight motorsports look. Something you simply don’t see very much on air-cooled dubs. I digg.

AccuAir has and will always(as long as they keep doing what they’re doing) be cool. And when your cool, your stuff sells. Ok, so maybe not that simple, but you get what I mean when it comes to a successful air suspension company. By the way, did you see the iPhone controller coming out next month? Now that’s cool.
Body dropped old school trucks have been my ultimate weekness. I even posted a picture of this truck, not too long ago. It’s absolutely perfect. Modern drivetrain and wheels, with a completely custom chassis. And the best part was that they didn’t paint it. So dope!! Here’s a little video on some info on the truck as well as some reasons why AccuAir is cool. Ha!
I’ve got to say it again, but this is what it’s all about. The open road and two wheels. No worries, just your buddies and some vintage firepower. This video expresses something that is really hard to express. The freedom experienced with riding.
Having said that, this film was VERY well done. Great edit. Love the content and the bikes, along with the riding gear which works absolutely perfectly. Would love to do something like this someday, minus the lack of shower and food. haha

Whether good or bad there will always be trends, whether we like it or not. What never trends or goes out of style is oem+. I’m sure everyone knows what it is by now so no need for explanation. It’s always been the approach when I build my cars…simply, classic, timeless. One “scene” I always thought had the oem+ thing down to a science are the Europeans. They put a ton of money into their builds with keeping oem lines and theme. I found a perfect example of this below, from a show out in Europe, this weekend. There are a ton of mods in this car, but you couldn’t tell if you weren’t into dubs. Fresh oem paint, all oem trim, audi door handles, cup mirrors, all red tails, a completely retrimmed interior with an Audi TT dash and baller Recaro seats, and I am sure there is a nutty setup under that hood. No insane widebody and fiberglass dash with 6 subs in the back, but GREAT execution. This truly is a car that will never go out of style.
I don’t know if you’ve been noticing but I really am trying not to post the obvious stuff that every else is posting on the thousands of blogs out there. I try and shoot for more of what catches my eyes and interest. I’ve always loved Miata’s, but I’ve hated the fact that they can’t really keep up with the competition when it comes to drifting. I understand the whole short wheelbase/long wheelbase logic, but there has to be a way to get more speed,angle, and smoke out of the little verts.
I can’t express how much I love when people take rusty cars with crazy patina body drop them and drag frame. Even better when they leave the body as is it and completely update the entire drivetrain and suspension. I think it’s becoming so popular because you simply cannot replicate the look. Hopefully it doesn’t become too mainstream but I really do enjoy seeing it. I came across this picture of a really dope example of what I’m talking about. Many people don’t understand how much work goes into a proper body drop. It’s pretty intense. And after all that work, leaving the patina gives the truck that much more character. Oh, and having baller wheels always help. So dope!

I think calling racing Porsche’s in a famous race track in Japan, a dream, would be a large understatement. For me, just a trip to Japan would be a dream, but getting to drive an RWB Porsche with the famous builder is just beyond nuts! Heck I would kill just to film, photograph this stuff.

Living in the states we are very using to always seeing the “best of the best”, but a ton of countries have amazing car builds to offer. Not to mention enthusiasts to match these amazing builds. Maiham-Media does a great job of showing what Thailand has to offer. Thailand is not only a beautiful place, it also carries a ton of great automotive enthusiasts.

This video is a perfect example. Firstly, it’s a very well put together video. Secondly, the artistic theme and vibe of the video is right on with the lifestyle and “look” this company is trying to show. I was already in love with the great motorcycles Untitled were building, this video makes me NEED a BMW R-series bike! haha. Props.
