I attended Honda Day for the first time this past Sunday and it really opened my eyes to the scene in the North East. Specifically the Honda scene. To be honest, it was disappointing. Firstly, I have never seen more replica wheels ever in a show, ever. I have nothing against buying fake wheels. I do understand that we all can not afford 3k+ wheels or just plan don’t want to. But why dump a crap load of money into a car just to half ass on your wheels? To each their own, I know. But on top of that, every one was BLASTING music out of their car, the entire show! A buddy and I was walking the show, and could not keep up a conversation for more then 30 seconds, because we would walk by car after car blasting music. Again, to each their own, but damn, it’s just unnecessary. I kind of get jealous of the Cali Honda scene because it is much like the Euro scene is here on the east coast. Much more laid back, much more friendly.
Let me be clear, there isn’t any hate here. But it does get annoying.
Anyways, to make my point, below is the proper way to build a Honda. I am a huge “stance” and “fitment” fan, but I would LOVE to see more builds like this. More of a motorsports feel. I mean, the car isn’t dumped but it looks REALLY good. And that is because the owner took the time to make everything work. This is by far one of my favorite EF builds ever. Attention to detail is key, which takes a passion. And the owner of this car has it.
