I do still plan on selling my GTI, BUT if for some reason I wind up keeping it, this will be my next set of wheels. Getting kind of tired of the 19’s and not being able to lay frame anymore. A set of 17 inch black or polished Corvette splits and some nice fitment. Ah, don’t tempt me!

Gabe! Look at those flairs! lmao.
As a team member and I go back and fourth with ideas for his MK3 build I try and give me as many visuals as I can. Although we were pretty solid on a final decision, these PAINTED flairs are pretty dope. When you see these gti flair they are usually in the ugly plastic. Pretty sure this is the only time I’ve seen these flairs and actually love them. Of course the fitment aids to it’s visual appeal, but you get the point.
It’s really cool seeing the different tuner scene’s from around the world. This time we visit Thailand. It’s almost like watching the current Cali scene. Pretty cool thinking this is on the other side of the world.
Gatebil is one of those events that every car nut must experience in person before they die. Insane drifting, countless amounts of high horsepower cars, and a car show to close out the deal. So dope. These guys in Norway sure know how to build cars and beat the crap outa them. Props!
Sorry I’ve been MIA for the past couple days, been on recovery all weekend. Anyways, the Mooneyes show was not too long ago. This show is probably one of the better custom/hot rod shows in the world. People from around the world bring out their latest creations to show them off in Japan. As you can see Japan sure does know how to make some really sick custom rods. Not to mentions the tons of custom bikes.
Why the heck would I be posting up a school bus. It’s pretty unassuming other then the tints and heavy duty bumper up front. But take a look at the back end.
Yep, that is a drift car driving up ramps, into the bus. There have been some pretty inventive haulers, but nothing like this. Pretty sick. Not to be judging, but I’m pretty sure there is more money into the bus there the drift car. Shouldn’t it be the other way around? Not hating at all lol. Very cool non-the-less.
Yep! The entire car fits in it!
I’m sure there are plenty of you that are sick of this offset/stance/fitment “trend”. Let me just reassure you that it isn’t a trend. The guys who fall under the “trendy” subject are the guys who add a set of low offset wheels, hammer out the fenders and call it a day. Fitment is here to stay for the guys who build cars correctly and with quality being the main focus. Just please people, don’t judge a book by it’s cover. Don’t forget we are a community.
Anyways, I found this picture of vortex and HAD to share. I mean, just look at this fitment!! It’s insane! I’ve always had clearance issues with aftermarket wheels to the strut, but nothing this insanely close! I gotta stay, this is scarily good.
Speedline Film Werks have been pumping out a crazy amount of videos the past couple months. Good stuff too. This is their latest show coverage held in Washington state. Good stuff.
I believe I have found the most beautiful motorcycle in the world. I have seen A LOT of custom bikes over the year, but nothing comes close to this lovely piece of art. The mix of the carbon fiber, with the finely crafted titanium, and the huge 26 inch wheels makes for a bike that flows so well it’s almost too good. I can see why the guy babied the bike on his ride. If I dropped that piece of art I wouldn’t be able to live with myself. haha.
