So after finding this video, I start doing some research and saw the the JZ swap is fairly common in old school Volvo’s. I think it’s pretty sick! Taking something ugly and old and make it into a drift monster. But at the same time, who doesn’t like a classic Volvo wagon? I think we can all say that some family member at some point owned one.

All posts for the month October, 2011
Alright, we left off as it got dark in part 2 of saturday night. That was the point in time when my friend and I got completely soaked by an ass driving past. Mind you I had my camera out taking pictures. Pissed we wen’t back to the hotel to change and meet up with everyone else. We wen’t back out and stopped to check out the Wrong Fitment Crew gtg. The spot was really perfect, as it had tons of lighting and seemed to be on display to the passer-byers.
S2k on CCW classics. Always a winning combo.
Never liked these 2-door Accord until I saw this one dropped on Rota’s. Would make for a great daily.
Another sweet Saaburu.
Of course the stanced Miata’s were out in force.
Finally caught up to this S14 to snap a picture. This car is just so aggressive looking!
The beautiful S4 we all remember from last year, still looking great on CCW’s.
Doesn’t take much to make a 3-series look great.
Absolutely LOVED this S2000. The color combo just seems to work.
First time I see RS’ on a Subaru. Looks good.
Another shot of my favorite. OZ Futura’s work so damn well!
Here is something you don’t see very often. A Prelude on Borbets.
Was digging this Miata .The Rota’s gave it a really aggressive look.
Ugh! Love seeing these first Gen. RX-7’s. Still waiting for someone to throw a LS in one.
And here is the powerplant of the 5-series shown in part 2. Yep, it’s a 1JZ. Nuts!
We hit the road again to cruise, and saw this Quattro in the distance. Lets just say I broke a couple laws to catch up to it. Absolutely beautiful!
We then found a spot with super great lighting and decided to do a small impromtue shoot of my car for SNTRL.
Here is a little sneak peek.
Anyway’s, that about ended our night. I was a really long day for me. The coverage now continues at H2Oi Sunday.
The show was at a different location this year, a school. First thing I spotted was this BMW 5-series sporting Rotiform SNA’s. This used to be a Cali car, owned by a Rotiform employee. Great to see it.
Sweet widebody MK5 on Rotiform’d BBS RS’.
Inspirational Mk1.
If I didn’t want something outrageous next, this would be my next car. Something about a slammed white mk6.
Two very different but equally awesome MK2’s.
Beautiful Z4 we spotted back at Waterfest.
This was my favorite car of the show. Clean mk3 on Fifteen52 newest 3-piece wheels.
Weird but cool MK5 truck.
More of the Quattro I spotted the night before. Packing 400hp with it’s 5-cyl. turbo.
MK5 sporting RS4 seats done by Plush Automotive way out in Europe.
Weird seeing a Japanese car in a VW/Audi show, but it’s welcomed.
Couple of nicely bagged B6’s.
As you will see, the Rotiform booth was stacked with quality.
Such classic lines.
Dub mom!
A better picture of the RS4 converted B5. I don’t understand why these don’t get more attention.
The most anticipated car of the weekend for me. Now bagged on Rotiform’s. Although I never saw the 18inch RS’ previously on the car in person, I think they are a better fit. I saw this car and a bagged 200 series Merc rolling down the strip later that day, and I seriously got goosebumps.
Small bumper MK2! Ugh, love love.
Something about white MK3’s that attract me so much.
Clean and simple. And Rotiform!
The beautiful GS spotted all weekend.
Ok, so that concludes part 3. I swear only one more part left! I just couldn’t let the epicness of the weekend go to waste!
Taking a small break from the H2Oi coverage, I’ve been wanting to post this video up for a while now. With one of my brothers being a big fan of the 350z, I like to follow the trends and new projects from around the country/world. As most of us know you can go with a pretty aggressive wheel in the back. It’s almost mandatory that you have AT LEAST a 10.5 wide rim in the rear to even be considered “hellaflush”. Minty Z was a car I didn’t like when I first saw it. Mainly because of the color of wheels he first fit to the car, it just looked too trendy. The polished/chrome VIP Modular he is rocking now, looks absolutely sexy on the mint colored 350z. It also helped that he is static and slammed beyond the floor. Props!
Ok, so back with part 2. I figure I might have around 4 parts. I took a lot of pics lol. I left us off with saturday around the middle of the day. We wen’t back to the condo to re-fuel and headed back out to chill on the strip to see cars drive by.
Really hot girl taking a picture of my car.
A bunch of random Volkswagen’s and one of the many diesel trucks with loads of people in the back.
really crappy picture of this stanced out Del Sol. Followed him home for a while, car looks great.
Another crappy picture of a car that was a shocker. Who would have thought a Legacy wagon would look so good on BBS’.
Stopped by a couple of really nice cars to take some shots. RS6 wagon. Sick!
Was really digging this slammed GS.
Would really like to see more of these “VIP” RL’s. The car really has classic lines and looks great modded, as you can see.
180’s were out in force. Really liked the one piece Fifteen52 wheels.
Beautiful bagged Eos on Rotiforms.
Seriously wanted an S14 after see this thing all weekend. More on this later.
Dun Buggy was carrying around a tent all day, since it didn’t have a roof.
Some people didn’t forget to enjoy the weekend. Check out the Harlequin Buick!
Dope cars driving by faster then I can keep up.
The dopeness continues.
Some rolling shots of the the weekends show stopper.
The ever-popular old Merc 200-series, bagged on RS’.
One of my favorite Rabbit’s of the weekend.
Something right about a tastefully modded Mark 3.
At this point we decided the cruise the strip a little and head back to the convention center.
An absolutely beautiful Datsun 240z on Rota’s.
I wish I got a better shot of this Jetta. I was done quite well.
Two rare shots of my own car. Notice the newest addition, R32 rear with filled exhaust holes.
Tasteful Jetta on Fifteen52 wheels.
Yep, that’s a Porsche 964 on the strip.
Two great looking Miata’s on the strip. I need a girl like these. Down to ride, in the rain, in a loud, rough riding car. Props!
Super nice Jetta wagon. Yet another car bagged on Rotiform’s. lol
I’ll end part 2 with this rat style C-class riding static with lots of rust. I freakin like it. Back soon with part 3 & 4. This stuff is time consuming, smh.
So after taking about 600 pictures plus video I think I’m finally ready to post up my H2o coverage. H2O is easily the most anticipated weekend of the year for me and many car enthusiasts. Seeing thousands of modified cars take over such a beautiful strip on Ocean City is some what surreal. There really isn’t a better setting then Ocean City, filled with hotels lining the strip and miles of straight road to cruise up and down. This was my 5th year attending and it has gotten better every year. My crew and I stay Carousel condo’s and have loved every part of it. Recently the security has been really strict so we may be moving on to try out other condo’s. Anyway’s, on the the coverage.
Showed up at the hotel, with a parking lot full of modded cars.
As soon as we got there, the trash talk and setting up for runs started. Damn street racers.
Really bad shot, but this Volvo sounded like absolute BALLS on the strip. A complete shock. Something about 5-cylinder engines.
A couple of the hidden gems in the Carousel parking lot.
Better have your A-game with your car unless you like getting joked on by the peanut gallery above.
Walked across the street for some pizza and saw this beauty. It’s hard to tell but its dropped pretty significantly on 23 inch Porsche reps. This thing was SICK to say the least.
After some foolery at the condo, we headed out to the convention center, WAY too late. Here is Alloy, being Alloy.
There was some real quality left at the convention lot.
Madwrapz(correct me if I’m wrong) bagged on Rotiform’s with a off-white wrap. Looked great.
Sparky Mark and friend with really nice setups this year. Everyone is on Rotiforms!
Gorgeous S2K slammed on a set of CCW’s.
As we were walking back to the hotel, I found this hidden gem.
As it was about 4am that about ended our night. My coverage continues saturday at around 2pm, as we hit the car wash.
Everytime I see this car it amazes me. Crazy flares and static. Pretty crazy I saw this in Chicago and here it is in Maryland.
Smooth R32.
Bagged MK2 on Diamond Racing steelies.
One if my subtle favorites from the show. Classic E36 M. It’s crazy how low these M’s can get.
Back at the convention center, the parking lot was PACKED. First thing that caught my eye was this lowered Escalade. It really shows the randomness of the cars that attend this weekend. Things like this make it a must-attend every year.
Yep, that’s a stanced out Nissan Sentra. lol Crazy.
This was pretty interesting. Merc on Bentley wheels.
For me, this was the favorite car of the weekend. Big body BMW dropped on OZ wheels with an Alpina kit. So BOSS! Definitely had me on autotrader lol.
Another super nice 7-series.
I absolutely LOVE this Prelude. Such a classic with the RS wheels.
This Lexus was actual debuted at H2O weekend. Shows you how serious this weekend is to many.
Yep, that a small block chevy motor in a E36.
Will have more pictures of this beauty later. It’s packing something special.
This car shocked everyone. Built and painted in 2 days, sitting on 15×10 with an offset on the negative side of zero, it broke necks all weekend. It’s a daily too. Damn this EG had some road presence.
Since my father owned a couple 5000/200’s I’ve always had a soft spot for them. This one was packing 400hp.
Another Audi my father owned, the V8.
Cant help but love a rusted out 80’s Volvo on widened steelies.
Beautiful Nismo 350z on Volks.
Love the clean lines of Saab’s version of the WRX.
Bagged Audi TT on Rotiform’d RS’.
Damn, love these SRT-4’s. Corvette wheels is a great looking change from the norm.
On the subject of corvette wheels, they also look great on S4’s.
I’ll leave part 1 with a beautiful AP1 on BBS’. Hopefully I’ll have part 2 up tomorrow, with the rest of saturday. What you see so far, just scraps the bottom of the barrel. More cars to come!
