I have to say, I really didn’t know what to expect from the weekend. But it proved to be one of the better weekends and car shows of the year. I met a lot of great people and saw a ton of amazing cars. I was rolling with the SNTRL fam and we were caravanning with Unique Auto and friends. Before I forget, it was great meeting some of the Unique Auto fam. They were super cool and are absolutely determined to build the best Honda’s in the country. More on them later.
We left New York at around midnight on thursday, but due to some confusion and a blown tire we didn’t arrive in Chicago until about 5pm friday. We we’re exhausted to say the least.
One of our first stops at some scary ass rest stop.
We finally met up with everyone and gassed up.
We drove through the night and into the morning. I was really feeling all the cars we were rolling with. Quality.
Stopped for some breakfast and met up with this legit Civic Type R. I’m horrible with names, so sorry if I call you by your car.
Panera FTW! Some of the crew in the background.
Figured I’d throw this in. If anyone was wonder this is me, the face behind this masterpiece of a blog. lmao.
Back on the road. Trying my best to get some rolling shots while driving.
In case your wondering. That’s a dead turtle in his hand. haha. He found it randomly on the side of the road.
Ah, the luxury of cruise control.
Yes, you are looking at the only Honda Accord awd rhd wagon in the states.
Thanks to Kenny for these pics.
Finally after too many hours of driving we arrived at the hotel.
Once we got to the hotel every made the little adjustments they needed and took the painters tape off. I will have more on this hatch later. But in my opinion it is the sickest built hatch on the entire east coast. Seriously.
