I think calling racing Porsche’s in a famous race track in Japan, a dream, would be a large understatement. For me, just a trip to Japan would be a dream, but getting to drive an RWB Porsche with the famous builder is just beyond nuts! Heck I would kill just to film, photograph this stuff.
Every one in a while I come across a car that just completely blows my mind. Whether its stance or horsepower or just simple beauty, I just love coming across these pieces of art. It’s jus something you can stare at and, most of the time, wonder, how the heck did they do that?? This Cobra, which I hear is actually a re-bodied Suzuki, takes many things to another level. Just having a slammed “Cobra” takes a ton of thinking outside the box, and a little craziness too. Haha. Of course this is in Japan! Add a set of Volks and you have a seriousssssss head turner. I wonder how it performs? Damn, but I sure do love it.
This is what it’s all about, friends and motorsports. It’s great to see that these guys are still keeping the function side of this game alive. You hear and see so much stance and fitment you forget where it all started. On the race track. Great video about a close group of friend not following any trends and doing what they love.
Ok, listen, I was nor am a fan of Nascar. I can always appreciate the work that goes into maintaining a race team and competing, but Nascar just doesn’t do it for me. It’s a combination of ugly looking cars and a very boring track. But I came across this video and had to post it up to give Nascar some credit. This isn’t a race, it’s a battle to the finish.
Now let me start this by saying that I am not discrediting any motorsport in any way. I enjoy, support, and love any type of motorsport around the world. But, why don’t we have, here in the states, a race like the video posted below? I am the only one that gets REALLY excited when I see the cars in this video running around normal streets and closed mountain drives? That to me is just real, raw racing. You can say it’s more relatable. And with cars that, as a base, come from a dealership at the beginning of their life. I mean you just don’t see that type of car racing on that type of track in the states at all. I think it would be huge over here. Seeing a highly modified Ferrari 355 racing behind a modified Evo, behind a E30 drifting around the turns, behind a MK2 golf, and followed by a 70’s Porsche 911. That, to me is, racing, visual, and sporting perfection. I know I can’t be alone in this feeling. There are enough shop’s and enthusiast’s with money to fill a race like that with cars exactly like this. In the future I wanted to open a race track, but I think I’ve changed my mind. These street/road races are much more appealing. And the cars racing in them are undeniable dope.
If anyone would like to lend me a couple million I would be sure to make that happen!
