It is known that Simoncelli is the most aggressive rider in MotoGP right now. But today, he really pissed me off. There is nothing wrong with being an aggressive rider, but when it gets reckless it needs to stop. My opinion may be bias since Pedrosa is my favorite rider, but it was obvious that Marco cut into his race line and made him drop the bike. And look at the result, a broken collar bone. The worst part is that Marco is clueless as to what he is doing wrong. It was a real shame because it was an amazing race. Casey Stoner was un-stopable. The Honda’s are still the fastest bikes out. A big congratulations to Rossi for his first podium!!!!! It’s great to see that he is slowly but surely getting comfortable with his Ducati. One thing I am worried about are the American riders. Ben Spies and Nickey Hayden are nowhere to be found after a successful season last year. Overall great race. I just hope Pedrosa can recover.

After a four week vacation MotoGP resumed it’s racing schedule in Portugal. I have to say it was a pretty good race, but I do have a lot to say on what is shaping up this season. Firstly, congratulations to Pedrosa for his first win this season. He will always be my favorite rider, besides Rossi. The fight between Pedrosa and Lorenzo was intense! I mean they were setting fastest lap times every couple laps. But in the end Pedrosa proved why he should be on top. He took his time, being patient to find the perfect time to pass. Once he passed Lorenzo for the lead he really showed the speed he was holding back for most of the race. For the other racers, Rossi was good but Dovizioso held on and passed on the last straight. Hayden and Spies were nowhere to be seen. As for the bikes, the Repsol Honda’s seem to be rockets, while the Yamaha’s are the best on the brakes. One thing I am upset about is the performance of the Ducati’s. I mean, Ducati has GREAT riders, but Duci really needs to step up and make there bike tons better. I would love to see Rossi on top again, but the bike seems to be holding him back.
Until Next time
