“Damn”. That is the first work that came to my head when I first saw this car surface on the forums. The jdm front had just been put on and the paint wasn’t matching. But the fitment of the wheels and the look the car achieved, it didn’t matter if the car was “finished”. We’ll here is a video of the car with an updated paint job. “Damn” is still the first thing that comes to my head.
fitment

The cars that I find attractive these days really concern me. haha. I mean it’s a really ugly, bland Toyota Corolla, but yet it has been saved to my hard drive. Maybe it’s the clean mods. Maybe it’s my soft spot for wagons. Maybe it’s the fitment of the wheels. Who know, but it looks great and that is all that matters. Great execution. It should make for a great grocery getter.
Lets face, every family has a weird, ugly, and slightly slow kid in it. TOTALLY kidding, but you get what I mean. The RX-8 definitely fills that roll in the rotary family. It is definitely the ugly, overweight kid. But as far as cars go, I think that’s why a lot of people like it. If that makes any sense. A close friend of mind is researching doing a pretty special project, so when ever I see a nice one, I like to save it and show it to him. The one pictured below is probably one of the nicest I’ve seen, with perfect fitment of the Volk’s. So now it’s the ugly kid with nice clothes.
A remember when this car was debuted in Wekfest a couple months ago. A lot of people didn’t like it because the fitment was pretty bad. What they didn’t know was that they had finished the car the night before and fitted the wheels for the first time at the show. This was another build I was following and it was pretty amazing. The widebody you see in completely custom, no kit here. Now that the owner has finally dialed it looks beyond amazing. I absolutely love TL’s but would never own one since I live near the NY/NJ area, where everyone and their mother owns one.
This is seriously the nicest TL out in the states.
I have to be honest, I didn’t like the new Scirocco when it first came out. But it has slowly grown on me, and it’s examples like the one below that make me want one! I really hope they bring them to the states. If not, I’ll just have to wait 25 years to grab one. haha. The car below is on a simple setup of air ride and CCW Classics. Damn that fitment is perfect!
Found this a couple days ago on the Canibeat forums. Its crazy when you see a craze like stance and fitment thats so big in the states, being applied to cars on the other side of the world. Never really thought the E39 was the greatest car for something like this, but after seeing these pictures I want to go buy and build one myself! The way this car is sitting is just NASTY, in a good way. Gotta love the flat green as well. Its just overall a great looking car, but my heart of hearts wishes it was a real M. Cant forget about the brushed gold CCW Classics. AMAZINNGGGG.
My question for you guys is, air or static? looks like air to me.
thanks to canibeat for the pictures. Enjoy!
