Yet another car we never got in the states, that I’m sure plenty of us would love to rock. My favorite is the first generation but I’m sure if we had the chance, we would be seeing a couple of these super dope. The model below is a C33 Laurel, and looks drift ready with widened fenders, SSR or Work wheels and aggressive body kit. You know this must be packing a punch under the hood.

Lets forget about Silvia, RX7’s, and Supra’s for a second. Wouldn’t it be dope as hell to show up at a drift event with a pickup truck. You got yourself a drift vehicle and a spare parts truck all in one. I love when they throw the JZ and RB motors into the small single cab Nissan’s and Toyota’s and get slideways.
The leaves have fallen and it’s time to get your ultra slammed cars and do a little yard work. I always like how “creative” people get with their snow plows. Gives you an idea of who are the guys who roll hard all year round and who are the guys who throw there cars in the garage and tuck them in every night. I tend to be a tucker. lol This Miata is pretty bad ass and word is that the owner drifts it pretty hard. Props.
I’m sure I’ve talked about Engineered to Slide before, but it’s so incredible what this guy is doing. The picture below is of a fully ground-up build of a Toyota Hilux. Meaning he started with absolutely nothing but a shape and skill in welding and fabrication. This is most likely a dream for most of us, as car enthusiasts. This whole thing was built out of a one-car garage. Props. It’s a really inspirational story.
I love the SR20 block chilling on a skateboard.
I thought this was a fun short video. It’s a video of Alexi Smith from Noriyaro.com going to a 1JZ meet at Fuji. If you aren’t following him on his blog I highly suggest it. A lot of great content. I really love his car. Something about big 4 doors with a ton of horsepower and a drift theme that go so well together. I would love to find a local in Japanese and have him take me to all the great places of Japan. Ah, some day.
I swear drift teams got the LIFE! Travel around the world, getting paid by their sponsors, and doing what they love to do. Low Brain is a crew out of England and in this specific video they go through their experience at a drift event in Dubai. Since Dubai is a place filled with the overly rich, you always see the outrageous. I mean, trucks with 1400+hp with no type of filter, driving up SAND dunes. I mean its just reckless! I’m jealous. P.S. I’m sure some of you will be happy to know that the shop featured on the video is building the worlds fastest GTR.
The vid is about 20 minutes long, but worth the watch. Enjoy!
Back from a weekend away, going through some old YouTube favorites and came across this. I mean it simply is the most picture perfect drift I have ever seen. The car hits the clipping points, no steering adjustment, insane almost backwards angle, full throttle, and no mid-turn correction. This is what all drifters should use as an example.
With my fairly recent obsession with all things drifting I had to share this car. I have been wanting to build a S13 coupe for the longestttt, and this one is really close to perfect. Stanced perfectly on the recently new CCW LM5’s with a wide body and obligatory SR20DET powering the beast. I really can appreciate all the work done to the car, especially making those wider fenders look smooth, which seems to be very very hard. A pet peeve I have always had is when the gas caps are sunken in on the wider rear fender, and glad he took the time to make it flush. Now I know some drift monkeys are saying there is no way he drifts the car. But cmonnn, could you blame the owner if he didnt? The car is beautiful!!
thanks to flushstance for the shots
