As classic Japanese and European car fanatics we thought it was natural for us to put a proper car show together for everyone that shares the same enthusiasm on the East Coast. We added a twist to bring some fun to the show and created a competition between the Japanese and European car owners. To put it simply, each competitor on side that comes out the hardest wins something to take home. And, not to mention the bragging rights until next year. Bring out your classic ride and enjoy the day surrounded by the best classic JDM and European cars on the East Coast!

Awards will be given out for the best of each car category

Best Euro

Best JDM

Best Mazda

Best Datsun/Nissan

Best Honda/Acura

Best Toyota/Lexus

Best Volkswagen/Audi

That Air-cooled / Water-cooled Kind of Cool

I’m back! As you can see its getting harder for me to post up here, but I haven’t forgotten about you guys!

I came across this Porsche 924 scouring the interweb and had to share. We’ve seen a couple of Europeans building these uber cool highly modified air-cooled swapped cars and they seem to just continue to get cooler(fully intentional pun). As a fan of all odd and un-popular cars this makes so much damn sense. The 924, not being the greatest car Porsche built I hope people can understand the crazy transformation. Regardless, the quality and quantity of work is really amazing on this car and rear-engineed or not, its probably one of the better 924′s I’ve seen. You have to give props to the builder for committing to such a out-of-the-ordinary project. Major Success!

Hairdresser Swag

It took me a damn long time to come up with that title, believe me. Even though I’m pretty sure the Miata gay/hairdresser jokes are reserved for the uneducated, you can’t help but think of them whenever you see one. I’ve been wanting a NB for a while now and this one may just put me over the edge. Firstly the over-all theme is pretty much perfect, with its military inspired greenish-mud color. As many of you know I have a deep soft spot for Watanabes and the fitment on this piece is killing. Anyone have a clue what company makes the fender flares? They sure do fit the car and its theme very well.

Anyone else peep the cable cutter on the roof?!?? Something that is used on helicopters. So dope!

Turning The World Up-Side-Down

What the **** is going on here!? See, I was brought up in the Bronx, which means I really get that being a total-bronx bad ass means having a chromed out Gixxer 1000 with a stretch and a fat rear tire so you can do long rolling burnouts. I get it. The “exotic” bikes were and still are very much left alone. Now I’ve seen customized cafe style Ducati’s but nothing to this extreme. Don’t get me wrong I think these bikes are beyond awesome looking, but we all know there are a group of Ducati loyalists plotting their revenge as this is being written. The looks just can’t be denied with an already beautiful Duci being dropped on its stomach and stretched out to next year. Oh god this is just too GOOD! Any one else would LOVE to see more of this?

btw, you guys peep the rear brake setup in-between the wheel and the frame?!?!?!?!? Explain!!

Exciting Technology

I usually don’t post up super high-end technology here, but I had to make the exception for this video. It’s been proven over and over again that technology always, eventually trickles down to affordable sports cars. Something like transmission technology is always important because it’s one of the few things that haven’t been completely perfected. We have these super fast, blink of the eye type deals, but nothing this precise, instantaneous, and more importantly, giving the ability to transfer massive amounts of power correctly. I think Koenigsegg is one exotic car company that is overlooked when it comes to pushing forward innovation. As you can see this is something that is thought-up and built in house. That says A LOT about the minds behind this company and it’s cars. It’s think it’s time we take Koenigsegg a little more serious.

I’ll keep this simple. You ever, really, I mean really, wanted to see how it felt to be a race car driver minus the bathroom breaks and food eating? (Or maybe your in to that kind of thing. I won’t judge.) Well t he video below is pretty damn close to it. Due to super modern technology, via go-pro(I think), you can see pretty much what racing is like from the eyes of a driver. It’s a fairly long video, but I thought it was cool enough to post, so your going to watch the whole thing. K Thanks Bye!

Ralph Lauren

Back guys! I really am sorry for that break in posts. Like I’ve said before, we’ve got a lot of planning for this year to not only give you better content, but some awesome products.

This past weekend I went with a friend to a private event to show the new Aston Martin Vanquish. Of course, being surrounded by millionaires, whipping out a dsrl just didn’t seem natural. So I just blended in for the day, talking about yachts and gold plated caviar, or what ever millionaires talk about. The Vanquish, a beautiful full carbon bodied sex machine that sounded just as good as it looked. It’s hard to explain the awesome exhaust note, but I highly suggest visiting a dealer and bugging them until you get them to turn on one. But enough run-on sentences. As we were checking the car out the real surprised walked in the door, Mr Ralph Lauren himself. Being a super fashion addict, I was star struck. Fully clad in Polo sweats his visit was about 10 minutes long (and I’m sure he order three Aston’s in that time). We went out to check what he decided to drive that day and was in love with his selection. A uber-limited white Porsche 911 GT3 RS 4.0. A seriously rare car for a equally rare appearance for one of the greatest designers. We happen to catch him on his way out, chatted for a minute and managed to snap a pic of him getting in the Porsche.
